Terrible service, broken promises, and extortionate behavior — Avoid this hotel!
Overpriced Temple Referrals: We asked the hotel for a temple reference for a special darshan. They referred someone who quoted ₹5,000 for 4 people and ₹300 for the Theertha Snanam. When we reached the temple, official counters and local guides confirmed it was only ₹150 for the bath and ₹3,000 per family.
Broken Breakfast Commitment: We informed the hotel well in advance that our group of 25 people would return late from morning darshan (around 10:30–11:00 AM) and personally requested them to hold breakfast. They explicitly agreed beforehand, but when we returned at 10:30 AM, they flatly refused to serve us.
Extortionate Check-Out Demands: Our check-in and check-out timings were agreed upon in writing prior to booking via email and WhatsApp. Despite this, the management called abruptly demanding immediate check-out, threatening to charge an exorbitant late fee of ₹14,000 on the spot.
Aggressive & Disrespectful Staff: When we calmly questioned these discrepancies, the staff became extremely hostile, argued aggressively, and spoke with total disrespect.
Their behavior created constant stress and completely ruined our pilgrimage trip. Easily one of the worst hospitality experiences in Rameswaram.

I paid ₹13000 for this. Not even like ₹2000-2500 per night room.
