A fun visit

Amazingly Ashoka maintains its food quality over the years. Typical Ashoka style Chilly Chicken, Paneer Chatpaty, gold coin prawns,p fried fish with mustard sauce. They have now upgraded the rooms too.

A lot needs to be improved

The hotel is located well, near the railway station and the market, good conveyances are available, good food, clean and tidy corridors, laundry service. However, key missing ares were:: a single towel per double bed room, no room cleaning or towel changing, hotel staff are cooperative but grumpy, smoking is allowed freely, more options required for vegetarian food. With a few improvements, it can easily be rated a 3 star hotel.

"Average hotel"

I was booked this hotel for my guest for one day.its a budget hotel and maintaining average standerd.roms are ok as compare to other similar hotel. service is very good.staffs are friendly.bath room was clean.

Well behaved stuffs

Though the hotel is little bit old, stuffs are well behaved. Our room was good. The corridor should be decorated a bit well.
Fare is somewhat reasonable. The food from the hotel's restaurant was good.

old hotel

very old hotel, in the market, but not been maintained properly. rooms are big but not cleaned, linens are old, smelling. toilets are not maintained. food is just ok. it needs urgent makeover. as of now its disappointing, not fit to stay
