First choice when it comes to travelling with my pet!!

If you wish to be away from the hustle bustle of Nainital, then Rewa Retreat is the place. Nested around 10-12 kms from Nainital at a place called Bhowali this place is definitely one of my favourite when it comes to staying with my family and pet. Everything about this place is nicely maintained may it be the rooms, the corridors or the lawn.

A comfortable heritage stay near Kainchi Dham

A pleasant heritage stay in Bhowali, with a convenient location for visiting Kainchi Dham. The rooms are clean, the gardens are lovely, and the staff is prompt and helpful throughout. The simple, home-cooked food was fresh and tasty.
The only downsides are the traffic noise from the main market and bathrooms that could do with better upkeep. The leaking taps really need to be fixed and the floor needs an immediate makeover. But overall, a comfortable stay with warm hospitality.

In need of improvement!!

We booked Rewa Retreat to break our journey from Mukteshwar to Delhi. In pictures it looked like a lovely property but after arriving there we found that it was right on the main road where traffic and honking never stops. The Staff was polite and helpful but the infrastructure such as curtains, bedding, toilets etc., needs immediate attention. The food also was not very interesting. Initially we wanted to stay for a couple of nights but decided to leave the place early morning and booked us a hotel in Bhimtal.
Having said this, this is an old style building with a lot of potential.

We Loved Our Stay at the Rewa Retreat

We stayed at the Rewa Retreat for one night in Nov 2018. We were driving down to Sitla and broke our journey at the retreat. The place has an old-world charm - sloping wooden ceilings, wooden floor, the architecture with old fashioned pillars and terrace railings. The property is spacious and has nice sitting places outside in the sun.
Our room was fairly spacious (Agra), with a big bathroom. Everything was clean and accessible. An added advantage was that we had our own terrace annexed with the room. Although with Victorian architecture, the room had all modern amenities - a wall TV, electric kettle, a nice almirah.
The food was amazing. We had all our meals at their cute dining room and every preparation was very tasty. What added to the taste, I suppose, was the lovely November weather. All in all, it was a great stay and I would not hesitate to stay there in future. It's very convenient when you are driving down from Delhi, but your destination is a bit farther out. Its location at Bhowali, which connects multiple destinations in Kumaon, is a great advantage.

Wonderful stay at Rewa Retreat Nainital

This is one of my go to places in Nainital. This is not exactly in Nainital but situated between Bhimtal and Nainital. A drive to Nainital may take about 20 mins. However, the best part about this property is that it is nowhere near the rush even in the peak time. It has 8 beautiful cottages with different sizes for different needs. Its beautifully kept up with a nice garden in front. Being a small hilly town of Bhowali, chef usually leaves early in the evening so you need to put your food preferences in advances. However, the food served is delectable!! Mr. Bhupender is the Manager is very cordial for any kind of service required. Any body looking for a peaceful stay around Nainital can surely go for this!!
