One of the Best Pet-Friendly Stays in Nainital/Bhimtal Uttarakhand

We recently stayed at Emerald Trail, Bhimtal with our dog Apple and genuinely had a very peaceful and memorable experience. Unlike many places that simply call themselves “pet-friendly,” this property actually feels thoughtfully designed for pets and pet parents.
One of the best parts was that every cottage has its own fenced private open area where dogs can safely roam, relax, and play freely without constant restrictions or worrying about disturbing others. For pet parents, that itself is a huge relief and something very rare to find in India.
The property is surrounded by greenery, hills, and silence, making it perfect for anyone looking to disconnect from crowded city life. The weather was beautiful, mornings felt fresh, and the entire environment had a calm and homely vibe rather than a commercial hotel feeling.
The staff was warm and welcoming towards pets from the moment we arrived. Water bowls were arranged immediately, and pet food options like rice, chicken, eggs, and boiled meals were available as well. We also appreciated that there were no unnecessary extra pet charges.
What makes Emerald Trail special is not luxury in the usual “5-star hotel” sense, but the overall experience, open spaces, nature, peace, and the freedom pets get here. It genuinely feels like a place created keeping pet families in mind.
One important thing for pet parents to note is that the property is close to forest areas, so it’s best to keep pets indoors during late nights for safety.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Emerald Trail to anyone looking for a peaceful pet-friendly getaway near Bhimtal or Uttarakhand.

Nice location, nice view of mountains, food was delicious, staff was polite and helpful

Had a wonderful stay at the resort in Bhimtal. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was polite and helpful, and the views were absolutely beautiful. The peaceful atmosphere and delicious food made the experience even better. A perfect place to relax and unwind in nature. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Team Outing at Emerald Trail Resort

Had an amazing experience at Emerald Trail Pet Friendly Resort, Bhimtal during our trip. The resort offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by beautiful nature and greenery, making it a perfect getaway from busy work life.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was polite and supportive, and the food was delicious. One of the best parts was the pet-friendly environment, which makes the place even more special for animal lovers.
Our entire team enjoyed the activities, quality time together. It was a well-managed and memorable office outing. Highly recommended for trips, group outings, and relaxing vacations.
