Avoid!

We booked this hotel online where it was listed as an Oyo property. When we reached the given address in Munnar, we had to spend about an hour looking for this place as the Oyo sign was not written anywhere & we didn't know that the actual name of the place is Karthika Residency.
We were given rooms no 403 & 404. Firstly, the walls were dirty & paint coming off. Bedsheets & pillow covers were all yellowish & dirty. In the bathroom of 403, the faucet didn't work while the basin tap was leaking in 404. We somehow managed to stay the first night.
The next morning we asked the manager to cancel our second night's reservation but he offered us different rooms which though better than the previous rooms were still not good at the given price

Better place

Room rents are reasonable .... easy accessible place.. good restaurants are available nearby.. neat and decent place... Peaceful area. It is in center of Munnar. Manager is very helpful n they suggest and guide us to the best sight seeing places...

Horrible place. Stay at your own risk!

You will regret living at this place for sure. The hotel location is very good and we were happy when we reached there as it was so close to the bus stop. But as we entered.m, we saw that that it was a dirty hotel. Rooms were not ready on time and they were not ready to clean our rooms when we asked. They have us a lower quality room despite our booking for a deluxe room. No facilities in the room at all. Not even toilet soaps. The intercom never worked, and we had to go down 3 floors for every single small thing. Their rooms are not sound proof. You can clearly hear what's being talked in other rooms. The room service is absolutely zero and the staff is not cooperative at all. This hotel stay spoiled the entire mood of our holiday. Please do not stay in this hotel, ever!

budget hotel in munnar

this is one of the budget hotel in munnar.....average service is available.......the rooms are neat and clean....parking facility is available for thebig vehicles like tempo travelller....all the staffs are given good service......

Average hotel

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days with my family. Phone provided at room was not working and we were forced to go to reception for each and every time to get assistance. The building is a bit old and room and bath room are average. There was no cupboard or shelf to keep personal luggage/ items. The location of hotel is good and is within one kilometer from town.
