Dishonest hotelier in Vrindavan
I booked the hotel via mmt for 1 day, then in evening I asked him to extend another day. In counter I was told it would be 3600/- but goibibo was showing me 2600/-, I asked hotelier for discounted price as online was showing less, he said but from online, I booked the same room online. As soon as I booked I got a diff room , single bed where as mine was twin bec bigger room. During online I showed the room in counter and booked in front of hotelier. Now since I need only bigger room that already am staying I asked him how to get that? He told me give me 3600/- I book it n you call goibibo that we will see to refund you. ( The go ibibo booking was not refundable). But hotelier told we will manage.
Now you c I hv two booking in the hotel for same day with 2 different rooms.
I reported the case to goibibo asap and hotelier agreed to goibibo that he is ok to refund (twise in 2 diff calls).
I stayed happily in my existing room for another day. Now after 7 days I returned home, the hotelier rejected my refund.
See, In his back of mind he had a cheating plan. I was going in our for the day but he pretended that my other booking is refunded,cancelled. He did not say me sir you are not checking in for the other room. If he did not want to refund he could hv told me upfront and say sir chk in to the other room as can't be cancelled but he remained silent knowing am already staying in other room then to do reject in coming days.
So he took double money from me for the stay, he technically issued me 2 rooms n did not tell me for the other room when I was roaming in front of him face to face going in our to hotel from reception.
