Good

Stayed for a single night in an AC + TV room. Room and bathroom were neat. Reception staff and running staff were helpful. No in-house restaurant but food delivery apps were available. Didn't require Wi-Fi, so never enquired about it. All in all, it was a comfortable short stay.

Stinky room and unhygienic bathroom

Worst hotel I ever stayed. Room was stinky and suffocating with the smell from downstairs kitchen. Asked them for a room change, and didn’t get one stating I didn’t ask immediately after getting into the room (asked 30 mins later). The room is not soundproof either. The smell and sound of vehicles makes it hard to sleep. Also the bathroom is not clean and full of mold.
This hotel is comparable to any substandard lodge.

You decide after reading my review

We booked the room through booking.com, Vismaya arranged the taxi when we requested pick up service from the airport. Navas came to the airport to pick us up on time. He was helpful. We arrived at the hotel and we couldn't check-in cause system was down and he couldn't print the booking.com voucher to process the check-in. We couldn't use the lift since it was out of service. He provided a double bedroom when we actually requested twin beds. we changed the room immediately. later in the morning, we met Vismaya and she greeted us with her beautiful smile. she assisted us with check-in and payment. Next day we requested to have a cleaning service. Three men came to clean the room while we were in the room because we had valuable items and whenever we asked them to do something they were complaining in their language and this bothered us a lot. So after they cleaned the room we went down to the reception and complained about their attitude. When it comes to the room space, the room size is average and does not fit for an extra bed ever. It is not suitable for disabled customers at all. We always had problems because of the elevator. Wifi is free but it was a complete failure. Do not expect high-speed wifi because the wifi is unreachable. Let me be clear when you sit in your room you have to sit nearby the door or at the reception then you will have a wifi connection. I know it's weird. Little secret to be shared if you see elevator out of service that means they are saving electricity and they can use Central generator to function it.

Visit to calicut

Glitz inn is a property With a decent accommodation but without a restaurant.
Located at mini bypass road leading to Nilambur from calicut. 200 Mtr away is the MIMS hospital.
The door was not getting locked and the bathroom was blocked. The staff promptly got it repaired.
The staff is cooperative.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay in hotel plus the hotel located near the city, restaurants and hospital. Prompt response to the service requested. Cleanliness of the room and comfortable bed. They do have high speed Wi-Fi. They do have parking space. The few complaints that I have is that room space and please don't forget to bring your universal adapter and they serve you complimentary water only on arrival so not daily.
