Beautiful place
Very large and beautiful rooms.
The staff is very attentive.The manager showed us around the palace with great kindness.

Old, Elegant But a Bit Frayed Around the Edges
The water in our bathroom was brown, the taps were wobbly and we suffered 5 small power cuts in our first hour. However the staff were friendly, our room was large and comfortable, and it made a great change from the modern hotels we stayed in.
The hotel is only small (there are 2 floors and no lift) and hence there is one large hall that serves as a restaurant/bar. Given its location the food was fine.

A comfortable hotel to break a long road trip
The rooms are just a short walk from the parking area. And there were views of snow covered mountains from the grounds.
Our room was very comfortable and quiet.
Our evening meal had to be ordered in advance, but as a result it was ready without a long wait and served to us in a high ceiling dining room. Breakfast was notable for the large portions and excellent omelette.
Contrary to many reviews the swimming pool was full and other than the water temperature there was nothing to stop us having a swim. The manager was very pleasant and went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
