Located in Amer, Lohagarh Fort Resort is in the historical district and in the mountains. Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing and City Palace are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Hawa Mahal and Royal Gaitor Tumbas. Nahargarh Biological & Zoological Park and Elefantasy are also worth visiting. This hotel features 2 restaurants, an outdoor pool, and a 24-hour business center. Slice of heaven
A special mention to Narayan (in-room dining)who was always just a call away and provided exceptional service. He is truly an asset to the hotel. Vijendra (HK)and his team were also very helpful in arranging a golf cart and assisting us with our luggage.
However, our experience with the front desk was quite disappointing. Despite requesting four rooms together, we were not accommodated and were told that since the booking was made through an external platform, nothing could be done. We also requested a common space for our group of 15, but although AGM Vishnu assured us that something would be arranged, we never received any update and had to manage on our own.
We also had two guests visiting us, but the hotel denied entry twice and insisted that we book an additional room. When we requested a suite by combining two rooms, we were told the entire property was sold out, although rooms appeared to be available online.
The front desk team needs more warmth, ownership, and better training in handling guest requests. Breakfast service also needs improvement, as items we requested, such as an omelette and puri, never arrived.
Overall, the property and certain team members were exceptional, but the front desk experience fell short of the standards expected from such a beautiful property.
