Pleasent Stay
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect and its near to both Ellora caves and Grishneshwar Temple, Nice Garden area for Kids. Good parking space and very convenient to reach. The property is a charming heritage hotel with beautiful villa-style accommodations that offer a unique and peaceful atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its impressive collection of books, artifacts, stones, and gemstones, which adds to its character and appeal. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Decent hotel, reasonably priced, close to Elora Caves.
Hotel is situated in town, walking distance from Ghrushhneshvar Jyotirilinga Temple and Ellora Caves. Close to shops and restaurants. Sprawling gardens with individual cottages. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Restaurant on site with decent Indian food.
Parking available on site. 2 gun 60W EV charging facility nearby at Ellora Heritage Resort.

Punishment
From the outside the bungalows look good but when you enter you can find: tangles of suspended wires, broken windows, dirty walls, insects, damp and dirty sheets and pillows, covered in soft and very hot stained piles, bathrooms of Gandhian times full of fouling and mold, so encrusted with limestone that the water does not come out.

Hotel Kailas..go only for vicinity of Ellora
Some institutions get served an opportunity to be iconic jewels and they prefer to be base, lacklustre, run down spots.
Hotel Kailas can be equated to same thought.
Pros:
- 100 m from Ellora Caves (the only Hotel in the region with this merit)
- Soft spoken and customer engaging Mr. Santosh (a whole time Director and managing property for 34 years)
- Good staff
- Food preparations are well made and good.
Cons
- Property is unkempt and displays lack of attention by Owners
- Rooms are quite dirty and housekeeping seems disinterested
(Our room had bugs, grasshoppers and spider webs. Bathroom was equally dirty with cigarette butt's and hairs from previous occupants)
- Tariff vs property's condition shows imbalance and greed of owners
- Food rates are high and they randomly convert Ala-Carte to Buffet without prior intimation.
- Lack of lounge or waiting area for Guests arriving or checking out.
- Eager owners ducking out every space at arrival desk and new guests bang into restaurant with one small office for checkin facility

terrible hotel
Pros: Location
Cons: 1. The water level in the bathroom is low so you can't take a bath and you have to wait longer for hot water due to solar water.
2. The quality of the room is bad as you get a smell when you enter the room.
3. The a/c unable to cool the room and end up sleepless nights.
4. They charge like a five star hotel but they did not give you tolites like brush, paste and they give 5 rs Lux soap and 2 packets of shampoos.
5. The quality of the food is bad as I vomited after having food there.
6.There very less flush water and this makes it terrible to use the washroom.
7. If you complain about this to the manager they will be least interested as their main focus or the customer is foreigners whom they are making fools.
8. Also this is the 1st hotel where I can see foreigners have to keep their keys at reception before moving out from the hotel.
