Family friendly hotel at Diu

It was nice and memorable stay for my family members at Diu during 26-27 December, 2024. Hotel staffs were cordial and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Food was tasty and delicious. I will suggest other visitors to step in this property.

THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... IGNORE THIS PROPERTY

LAST MINUTE DEAL........
This is the worst property in DIU In any minute . Don't go for it.. As this has not no parking..Extremely risky to even go there.. Narrow roads.. No proper approach . So it's very risky to park your car.
Hotel staffs are extremely unprofessional. Even they treat bad to ladies.
The Manager Named Vinod middle man is an extremely money monger guy. Who takes unnecessary advantage of engaging his own vehicle to fool the customers. This guy approaches the customers for room booking too. Once paid he shows his true color.
He fools all with his soft voice then I'll manner to the ladies too.
The property is extremely remote. There is no communication. No Auto.. No body can get a local drive to any place.
N This Manager.. The money monger tries to dictate after all. As if customers will behave his way.. Highly unprofessional staff.. If any problem the response is utter disappointment.Minimum 30mins to 2 Hrs.
Lastly.. They have 2 type of 2 BHKs.. This manager named Vinod willl make others fool.He plays around with them. CAREFUL
Moreover the MOST HORRIBLE STAY EVER IN MY LIFE. AVOID
STAY AWAY OF THIS PROPERTY
Don't get trapped.

horrendous place! AVOID like the plague

this was awful from start to finish. i had booked with Agoda and pre-paid so i had to stay here but Agoda were useless later and the hotel is one of the worst i can imagine. The rooms (we had 2 ) were tired looking but we took them as we felt we had no choice. later i saw the bathroom fittings were dire, the toilet never worked even though they said they fixed it, there were nasty stains on the bedding, cockroaches in the room, etc. see the photos!

Terrific value for money

We stayed for two nights during Diu Festival. The check-in time is 11:30am but we arrived at 9:00am; however, the hotel was kind enough to take care of our luggage despite all the rooms were full. After roaming around Bunder Chowk and Market which is at walkable distance from the Hotel, we got back to the hotel and the staff welcomed with chilled water and our luggage was already carefully placed in our room.
Room: The room was spacious, fresh smell, clean, comfortable bed, nice colours and bathroom were clean. The balcony was a plus as we could be the fort and cricket ground
Service: Fast service, friendly staff
Food: The food served during our Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was tasty and delicious. Not too spicy and with less oil which was very important for us.
Bar: the bar had variety of choices for alcoholic beverages. In comparison to main stream bars the prices were reasonable and cheaper. The service was quick
We checked-out and hotel was once again happy to take care of our luggage whilst we maximised our stay in Diu.
Overall, I would recommend Hotel Ankur to anyone who is planning to visit and stay in Diu. We enjoyed it, my children’s enjoyed and I hope you enjoy it too.

Decent Place at a good price

The location of the ankur hotel is perfect. The room service is very good and quick. Both in room service and restaurant service. The rooms are average but basic amenities like ac and good bedding are maintained.
