Heritage bungalow stay at Coonoor

This place is little away from hustle and bustle of Coonoor town and closer to dolphins nose view point, it’s well maintained clean and the surrounding is serene

Calm and serene

Absolute beautiful bungalow in coonoor. I visited with family and had a good time.Highly recommend.
Some pointers.
Try to get back before sun down. Roads are narrow and winding.
Get your booze if you drink alcohol. It's a 25 minute drive to coonoor so save yourself some hassle. There are no stores ard. Another option is to let the workers know before hand so they have it purchased.
Be communicative and let the chef know your food plans. They have to prep and have it ready. The food was good.
Wake up early to see the clouds rise up. It's an amazing experience.
There are lots of wildlife around. Avoid unnecessary encounters by heading out. It's not a forest however.
Go there to unwind. Remember this place is up the mountains.
Don't forget to get yourself some tea and black pepper from the estate.
The building is beautiful. The 360 degree view is outstanding. The view is better than dolphin nose's imho. The garden , the grass, the walking paths are well maintained. Kids can run around and play. The family suite has a separate entrance as well as from inside the bungalow. Great place to take pictures.
The caretakers are humble, courteous and pleasant people. Be nice to them. Try to leave the big city dweller mentality at home and enjoy the calmness this place has to offer. Don't act entitled.

Worst place ever!!!

I had booked this place for two days. I was charged and the booking was confirmed. Firstly it takes ages to reach this god forsaken place. On arriving I was informed that they’re sold out and have no rooms available. I was shocked and asked to meet the manager. I waited for nearly an hour but this person didn’t turn up. Finally I asked the security guard to connect him over the phone because there’s no network there. Only BSNL works there. Finally, when I had a word with the manager someone called Johnson. Who was pretty rude, not courteous at all. He clearly said it’s not his problem. And I should check with Make my trip because I had made the booking through them. Surprisingly, I wasn’t the only one who was facing this issue many others have gone through this same trauma. Johnson wasn’t apologetic a bit. He was adamant that they weren’t at fault at all. I had to travel back to the city with my senior citizen parents. Travelling back and forth for 22hrs. This place isn’t that great has maintenance issues. The staff is rude and ill mannered. Has security concerns. Would never recommend this place to any decent families. Also, I believe the above reviews are either paid or fake. This place doesn’t even deserves one star.

Perfect place to unwind in peace...

We, a group of 12, stayed here for a weekend in mid-December 2018. This is an awesome place surrounded by hills with a view of two waterfalls. Rooms were comfortable & tidy, and the bathrooms were clean. Great food prepared by Chefs Anandan and Lawrance. They even arranged a campfire for us.
Mobile network was intermittent, which turned out to be a good thing. (We got reliable network at Glendale tea factory outlet, just few hundred meters).
Worth visiting this place.

Mini Munnar

One must visit Munnar for its tea state. But if you want to see in Ooty, you should go Aaderly. This village give you awesome view of Beautiful tea state , Dolphiin Nose (from where you can see Downhills of westernghats) , Catherene waterfalls (most beautiful waterfall in that area). The most amazing thing you can do is a long walk around the tea state in foggy weather which will make your trip memorable for lifetime.
