Best hotel and valuble rate

its nice hotel,helpfull staff, neat and clean rooms,toilet, lift good condition also backup facilities,near by south railway station 2 minutes walkable,,everything comfortable for official people
and family trip and reasonable price..I like hotel shalimar metro..thank you for best your service...

Not worth to stay

Our agent booked 3 A/C rooms in this hotel for our family stay. Hotel gave only 2 A/C and one Non A/C room. Rooms are not clean. There are only two service people in reception.
They said hotel has solar power system. But none of the room have hot water facility. When we approached reception they said "there was rain in cochin so there no solar power saved". I never heard this type of answer in any hotel.
Nearly 10 times i asked them to provide hot water. No reply from them.
Morning breakfast they gave Idly and Vada.
Idly taste was so good. Unfortunately in vada we found aluminium wire which we use for dishwash. This is another tragedy in our short stay.
So...please.....please...avoid this hotel and aware with your agents whoever arrange this.

Very Close to South Railway Station.

I had a stay here with my brother on 27 April 2018. The room was large. They do not have restaurant, but they offer Room Service. But you have lots of restaurants very nearby. So we had dinner and breakfast in an outside restaurant. Booking done online was honoured and there was no hassle in registration. If you are travelling with friends or alone and eating outside is not a problem, then this is good. It was very much money's worth.

Horrible Service & Attitude & Behavioru from staff, Rooms are like Ovens, Not good for decent people to stay.

Its not a hotel, Its a low class lodge named hotel. The staff are arrogant and rude. Most of the people coming there are low accomodation searchers and the quality of people coming there are bad. I made a huge mistake by selecting this lodge. Also, a mosque is just nearby the wall of this lodge and many a times its a big disturbance for the stay during their prayer times. The rooms are too hot to stay, bedsheets and pillows were stinking. My experience, They have given me a room in the top floor which even after many requests till night, they didnt changed. They said no other room available and all are full. I checked in at 12pm and at that time the lodge was fully vacant and at check in time itself I asked for a lower floor room and theyd idnt gave. The behaviour was like, They are offering some free stay to me, as its some favour given to some beggar from his father's money. At nioght they have allotted some rooms to a noisy family, where I have seen some 6-7 ladies where accomodated in a single small room, and the entire people were making noise till 3pm. I complained the reception and the donkey sitting in reception started showing her anger at me, that he cannot control the guests. He was behaving so rude. I couldnt sleep till 3pm, and some 2-3 calls in midnight to reception, all the time they behaved bad as if his father was paying for my room rent. No one should take this lodge. Ridiculous service and experience from the staff. Not at all suitable for decent solo or family travellers. Bay be suitable for loory drivers who wish to sleep for a small time, but the place is too hot, more than an OVEN...

Nice hotel near station

Hotel is very near to south station, actually walkable distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good economical hotel. Plenty of restaurant near by, also basic needs shop to medical shop everything is nearby. Wholesome package to stay in
