One of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed in

Lovely boutique hotel. Everything was considered, from the crisp sheets to the modern bath fixtures to the tasty breakfast. Staff were overly generous. Super cool antiques and details throughout the common areas. Location is ideal for Fort Cochin - make sure you have a massage at the PureSpa in the Malabar Hotel one block away.

A treat to stay here!

Totally beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Fort Kochi.
The colonial styling of this medieval building is breathtaking; the luxury fabrics used on the gorgeous sofas, chairs, cushions and drapes; complemented by richly coloured indian carpets and an impressive selection of lamps, ceramic bowls, sculptures, stunning paintings and old books and maps.
We had exquisite (and vast) bathroom of marble and carved wood, with an extravagant provision of towels, delectable products and good lighting.
The bedroom was similarly luxurious and we also had a vast covered verandah with a writing table, seating and an old wooden games table.
Staff were amazing - very discreet, super helpful and extremely prompt.
The food was really excellent - this place was simply very special.

Old colonial grandeur at its best.

Old colonial grandeur at its very best. The sense of history is palpable. first the Portuguese, then the Dutch then inevitably the British. wonderfully spacious rooms. top quantity linen in the four poster beds. Sumptuous bathrooms Delicious food. We were made to feel like honoured guests by the owners.

Le Colonial is more like a beautiful home than a hotel. The staff are exemplary and the chef superb. The place is spotless and the location ideal.

Best hotel in kochi

Wonderful hotel - strongly recommended. The staff, rooms, surrounding area and service are all excellent. Small boutique hotel - only 8 rooms - so it’s a quiet, private haven beyond the noise of Kochi. No alcohol served on the premises, in case you’re tempted.
