Great place to stay, very welcoming!

There are 9 of us here for participating an art event in Kochi and we stayed around 2 weeks. Inn's staffs are very kind, helpful and welcoming, make us feel like home. The location is good, close to the beach and Kochi Biennale venue. It's very easy to get around, everything's close by. If you are looking for a place to stay in Fort Kochi, you gotta stay with Globe Trotts Inn.

Good location, good staff, amenities need improvement

This hoestay is located on rose street, in the heart of the heritage district of Fort Kochi. Location is the main advantage. Fishing nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, Parade ground, Vypeen ferry, boat jetty, bars, restaurants, bakeries, gift shops, utility shops....almost all major attractions in a walking distance. I have been in Fort Kochi several times and for long term too, and walking in Fort Kochi is a great pleasure. Rooms are simple and good. Couple of rooms on first floor have small balconies. Bathroom is ok and basic amenities like towel bedsheet, soap is provided. They have a rooftop where tables and chairs are arranged, however utensils are insufficient and they are not placed well. RO water filter was not functioning and when we asked for water bottles (as the machine was not working), we were charged for it. Wilson is main caretaker there and he is assisted by one more person (I forgot his name). Both are cooperative and helpful. Overall it is ok kind of option for 1 night or a short stay. However one can stay for long term as well as it is pocket friendly option. Improvement is needed in amenities

Nice clean geusthouse

Before we check-in this guesthouse, we checked several other places, but the rooms here were the very best.
Very good location, only 10 minutes walk from the ferry and close ro many restaurants.
We stayed 6 days in one of the rooms at the back site. The room was big, with nice clean badroom and private balcony.
The manager is friendly and helpfull and because of the low season, we get a good discount. We highly recommend this place.

Warmest Hospitality

The Inn is very close to the Fort and other tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and very well kept. The owner and manager are the loveliest people who genuinely want to help and live up to the feel of homeliness. The rooms are so inexpensive for the quality of life they provide. I would always go back to Globe Trotters Inn.

Our intimate home away from home

We were told that most people come to Fort Kochi for 1-2 nights. We came for 2 weeks! We booked the Globe Trotters Inn by internet for 3 nights, just in case it turned out not to our liking. Within a day we decided to extend for our full two weeks.
Our room was large and airy. Bed comfortable. We enjoyed a quiet back bedroom, one of the 5 rooms available.
While breakfast wasn't prepared routinely, we found our way to Alfred's heart and he prepared us a wonderful breakfast every morning. His salad was enhanced daily and always with his beaming smile.
Wilson, the local manger, offered a warm congenial hospitality under the auspices of the owner and local family of this homestay.
All together the staff made us feel quite at home through the Christmas- New Years holiday.
