A Truly Memorable and Heartwarming Stay in Munnar

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Munnar — it was everything we hoped for and more. I traveled with my husband and sister, who is a cheerful, able young girl and uses a wheelchair. Naturally, I was quite anxious at first, given Munnar’s hilly terrain. But to our surprise and relief, the hosts had ensured excellent accessibility. As they had mentioned, about 85% of the space was wheelchair-friendly with proper ramps, and they went above and beyond to help us navigate the rest.
The hospitality was exceptional. The team was always just a call away and readily available to assist us — especially when it came to helping my sister move around inside the property. They made us feel so cared for and supported throughout our stay.
The food deserves a special mention. From the flavorful tea to the delicious snacks and well-prepared meals — everything was top-notch. Though the food was on the expensive side, it was absolutely worth it, considering the quality and the warmth with which it was served. You could feel the genuine hospitality in every interaction.
The space itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and everything was exactly as described. We even had a lovely family movie night, which made our time there even more special.
A special shoutout to Dawn, who managed everything with such grace and attentiveness. My mother, too, had a wonderful time and truly appreciated the peaceful and welcoming environment.
Thank you so much to the entire team for making our trip so memorable. We left with full hearts and hope to return again soon!

Valuable in Chinnakkanal, Munnar

Valuable stay in the Munnar Chinnakkanal area. The rooms are good, and the services are excellent. They provide delicious homely meals. This place is not recommended for those looking for rooms with balcony viewpoints. The surroundings feature grassy areas, making it great for photography.

Exceptional service!

I will never be able to forget my exceptional stay at Regalia, just for the way Justin, the Hotel Manager, went out of his way to help me in my hour of need. I was traveling from Rameshwaram to Munnar and took a break at Dominoes, Madurai, where inadvertently I left my glasses. I realized this when we were half way from Madurai to Munnar and returning to fetch my spectacles was no longer an option. In Munnar, we had a two day stay at Regalia. Dejectedly, I narrated the story to Justin when we reached Regalia, who instantly called his sister who lives in Madurai and assured me that he would definitely help me get back my spectacles. Madurai Dominoes was not particularly cooperative, but they agreed to keep my glasses in safe custody on Justin's insistence. Finally, Justin's nephew Kevin went there which was far from his house and couriered it to my Kolkata address, because we had already left Munnar by then. In all this, Justin and his family had to undertake a lot of hardships in coordinating efforts with Madurai Dominoes. My spectacles were pretty expensive and my favourite. Will never forget this turn of his.
Overall, it was an amazing stay at Regalia! The rooms were clean and so were the washrooms. R3 room that was allocated to us offered magnificent views of the mountains and the lake alike. Very calm and serene! The quality and quantity of food was exceptional. One drawback is that they do not accept credit cards which Justin said, he would bring to the notice of the management to improve. However, I will still give 5 star for Justin's exceptional sense of service and humanitarianism.

Scenic Stay with a Few Quirks, but Worth the Experience

Hotel The Regalia Resort Munnar is beautifully situated in Chinnakanal, about 23 km from Munnar city. Nestled amidst nature on top of a small hill, the location offers a serene escape. However, reaching the hotel comes with a unique challenge—a mini natural waterfall flows across the path to the reception, which can be frustrating as you can't avoid getting your shoes wet while crossing it.
The rooms were cozy, and the bathrooms were clean, which we appreciated. Hot water was available, which was essential given how chilly it gets at night and in the early morning. With no nearby restaurants, dining at the hotel was our only option, but the food was to our liking. While the spread wasn’t lavish, it was sufficient, and I highly recommend trying the Kerala Parotta.
The staff was obedient and quick to respond to our needs, which made our stay comfortable. Despite the quirks, overall, it was a great stay, and we enjoyed the peaceful, natural surroundings.

Best Place for Stay

Good Hospitality, nice location, excellent view point from Resort, tasty food, clean rooms and well organized for event and site seeing. Well maintained property with reasonable pricing, worth for money and cost effective for choosing this resort.
Thanks for the resort organizers for giving this wonderful stay with pleasant trip.
