Expected Better from Nijaguna Residency
I stayed at Nijaguna Residency recently and found the experience below expectations.
The location is good, and the room itself was reasonably decent. The food served at the restaurant was of good quality, although the prices were on the higher side.
However, the property suffers from poor maintenance and slow service. The reception experience was not pleasant, and staff responsiveness was lacking. No drinking water was provided upon check-in, and I had to request it separately.
The TV in the room was not functional, and the remote was missing. When I raised the issue, the response was not helpful, giving the impression that the problem was already known. The bathroom mirrors were not properly cleaned, and overall housekeeping standards need significant improvement.
The swimming pool was under maintenance during my stay, and it took a very long time to become usable, which was disappointing as it is one of the key amenities advertised by the property.
Overall, while the location and food were positives, the poor maintenance, lack of attention to detail, and slow service negatively impacted the stay.
