Boutique- historic and traditional oasis
We travelled up to Candolim from Cavelossim to explore the north of Goa. Stayed at the Amrit Goa for 8 days and were extremely surprised in a very positive way. The room was very big and spacious- had a great fan and good AC. Bathroom was a good size .
Plenty of storage space and places to lay out your holiday paraphernalia which was fantastic. Bed was perfect for me and the hotel provided a mattress topper for my wife’s side of the bed.
Fridge provided with coffee and tea making. Everything was clean - working and good to go.
Breakfast was superb. I had a traditional Indian breakfast each morning which varied by region - Goan one day - South Indian the next. Watermelon - oranges and bananas every day. Cereal - eggs - how you want them - toast - fruit juice - as much as we wanted.
We were made to feel very welcome and special by the host /owners and the staff.
It is set down a path from the beach but not far and down a small road from the busy Candolim Main Street. Absolute peaceful oasis from the busy areas.

BEEN SCAMMED
stayed at this hotel for 7 days, charged me three times the amount of money that they should have taken, asked me to cancel through booking.com and pay them when got there directly as it would be cheaper. had issues with them and my bank since I've been home as its still is not resolved. lovely hotel however very disappointed about the whole situation. EVERYONE BEWARE

Nice location but expensive for the lack of quality.
A nice location close to the beach, with a wonderful head of reception “Catherine”. The owners were also friendly and made you feel welcome. They unfortunately really need to get the basics right. Especially the cost per night to stay compared to 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed in.
The breakfast was very basic no fruit, just 3 standard breakfasts to choose from. The room was spacious but the bed was unbearably uncomfortable, we had one pillow each which were both dirty and stained. The first day we arrived. We had to ask for the bedding to be changed because there were blood marks on the bedding and the pillows. No apology either!
The room constantly smelt like a men’s toilet. This was due to the sink and the shower plugs filled with toilet tablets which made the whole room smell like a men’s urinal. The shower was OK but the hot water tanks worked as and when?
We stayed in 5 star hotels throughout our trip and bizarrely this was the most expensive!?
If they were to get the basics right and charge the correct amount per night this could potentially be a lovely location…..

Best Boutique Hotel in Candolin
Great Find!! Lovely boutique accommodation hidden away from the main nice of the town and close easy access to beach. Rooms are lovely and pool is peaceful
Thoroughly enjoyed our time there
Must mention Arun. Great Guy who takes care of everything and treats you like a long lost friend

Nice quiet place
Located in a very nice place app 300 m to the beach. Pool well kept.
Breakfast lacking choises, no fruits only eggs and one type of indian breakfast.
Pool timings from 9 to 7pm, very late to open the pool I love to get up and have an early morning swim.
Rooms lacks a chair to sit and place to dry swimming clothes. Other than that rooms are very clean and bathroom good size
All in all a nice experience, with very few changes it could be perfect
