A week in mesmerising paradise! Susegad and joy in the air!
Madhu Huts is synonymous to Susegad! Through 25 years of hospitality it has proven through the test of time and competition to ensure when in Agonda, live the Goan life and feel the Goan Vibe!
Everything was just perfect.
Location: its exactly located in the middle of Agonda beach, giving you the vast view of the sea and cliffs at both the ends.. perfect sunsets, the sound of the crashing waves through the day and night.. what more can one ask for?
Rooms : Hands down biggest in Agonda. Big clean rooms and bathrooms. Big king size bed, 4 pillows and a warm blanket to keep you cozy. Change of linen, towels and 2 hand towels everyday. Perfectly working A/C, electric kettle for your morning coffee. 2 bottles (1ltrs each) of complimentary water everyday.
Food : Yummy seafood and tandoori range. Fruit custard was my favourite!
Staff & Service : The most polite staff i have ever come across. The answer is always yes, whatever is the question/ request. Very genuine and helpful. Diwanji, Suresh, Sunil, Hemkanth, Suhani, Savita and Hemraj are pillars of Madhu Huts ensuring our stay was just perfect.
Owner: Shekhar, a thorough gentleman. A man of few words with a big big heart! Through our interactions and transactions it never felt we were guests, we were treated like family. For 6 nights he made it our home away from home.
Recommendations: yes pls go for it without a doubt, this is the best! We stayed in cottage on the ground floor and i would go back again and again and again

Back Again and Even More in Love – Madhu Huts is Pure Magic!
We first fell head over heels for Madhu Beach Huts during our February 2025 stay (arriving on Valentine's Day – what a start!), and we knew we had to return.
This time, we came back for a glorious 14 nights from late November into December, and it was even better than we remembered – if that's possible!
We opted for one of the elevated sea-facing huts again, and it was perfection: super clean every day, a huge comfortable bed that guaranteed the best sleep with the sound of waves lulling us, air conditioning, fans, plenty of storage, fresh bottled water daily, tea/coffee facilities, and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing beach escape.
The views from the balcony are breathtaking – waking up to the ocean right there is unbeatable.
What truly makes Madhu Huts stand out is the people. Shekher and his entire team are fantastic – professional yet super friendly, always so helpful with anything we needed (from recommendations to arranging scooters or just a chat). They treat you like family, with genuine warmth and care that makes you feel right at home. Nothing is ever too much trouble!
And the food... oh my goodness! We literally tried nearly everything on the menu over our 14 nights (Goan specials, Indian curries, seafood, international dishes – you name it), and it was outstanding every single time. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked – hands down the best food and drinks in all of Agonda.
The cocktails and that famous feni limca are out of this world too!
This trip was extra special because it coincided with my 50th birthday and my partner's 52nd. The team went above and beyond to make both celebrations unforgettable – surprises with beautiful cakes, decorations, and heartfelt touches that had us in tears of joy. It turned what was already a dream holiday into memories we'll cherish forever.We can't stay away – we're already planning our next visit soon because nowhere else compares. Quiet place facing the Arabian sea, good food and nice hosting Team
Super quiet and nice play to stay on the beautiful and super clean Agonda beach, Room with sea view and enchanting music of the Waves. The entire Madhu Huts team is really kind and helpful. The food at the Madhu Huts restaurant is fresh, healthy and tasty. Great place to rest, enjoy and spend quiet and nice holiday. Special thanks to Madhu Hut boss who manager to have my forgotten swimglasses sent per driver to the airport for me to fly back home with them. Again thank you Warmly

A surreal serene paradise named Madhu Huts in the blissful setting of Agonda
An absolutely delightful stay. Words fall short to describe the tranquility that this place brings. The credit for this goes to the owner Mr. Shekhar and the staff (headed by Diwanji) who have taken care of every possible detail to make it a serene paradise in the absolutely gorgeous surroundings of Agonda beach and village. To provide a bit of context, we have visited Agonda multiple times and have stayed in different properties across the length of the beach.
IMHO Madhu huts provides you one of the biggest and cleanest rooms with a big bathroom at an absolute steal away price.
Apart from the rooms, there are some very unique positive things about Madhu Huts that make it stand apart:
- The linens and towels are changed daily without even asking. The bed linens are sparkling clean and the texture absolutely silky smooth to get you a divine sleep. We are especially finicky about this point, to the extent that we carry our own sheets, and in Madhu huts we never faced any issues on this count
- 2 bottles of 1 liter mineral water are provided each day. Most of the other resorts will not provide this. Even if they do mostly it is half liter bottles
- The restaurant is a haven of peace. Spacious and open giving it a feeling of vastness that merges with the beach and the sea beyond. No loud music, comfortable and big seating, you might as well spend your entire day here lazing around, ordering food and beers, we literally did that on most of the days
- The professional and well mannered service and housekeeping team. In many resorts we have found helpful, hospitable, jovial team, but I have never come across a resort where the ENTIRE staff is so polished and polite in each and every interaction. The restaurant team is led by Diwanji and comprise of Suresh, Sunil and others. The housekeeping is led by Hemkant and is ably supported by Savita and Suhani. The security is handled by Hemraj and he brings along a military like discipline and precision.
- The parking - being bang in the middle of Agonda, Madhu huts still has ample Secure parking for 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers
- The location is just ideal, right in the middle of the Agonda beach, so you can access both the North and the South side through short walks as per your liking
- The owner Shekhar embodies the true south Goa spirit, soft spoken, humorous, humble, resourceful and always willing to help you and make your stay memorable
- There is shade that is provided in front of the rooms that doesn't make the rooms too hot during the day time. Each room has 2 individual beach lounges and the beach itself is precisely 15 steps from your bed
Well, I can go on and on but in summary Madhu Huts is a paradise that cannot be missed in Agonda. If you visit once you will fall in love and will want to come again and again, we sure will.

Peaceful and beautiful views.
Stayed for 1 night only but fabulous place and would definitely stay again. We were in level 1 and lovely furniture to relax on the balcony and watch the sunset. Drinks and meals at restaurant were very good too. Clean place. Helpful friendly staff.
