lovly place to stay and explore

stayed here so i could meet up and explore with a friend. lovly staff and place. breaskfast was. nice. selection. easy walking to dom sq plus the tram stops outside these rooms are built for self catering mine had a fridge microwave and kettle and everything you need. a nice tv. that only places in hungarion you can get subtitles up. shower was great only downside is i think the drain needs unblocking. as it fills up and over flows i did report this to them. but all in all would i stay again
yes loved it plus a nice seating arear to enjoy a coffee outside.

“The glass is half empty”

We came here for a long weekend with my wife. I choose the hotel based on the ok google ratings. I usually choose my preferred chains, but there was none in downtown Szeged.
When you arrive you get to their tiny reception where you can check in, they have no restaurant or bar, not even a lobby area. There is only a coffee shop open until mid afternoon.
Upon arrival I paid for the room then the receptionist told me that the breakfast is from 6.30 am till 9.30am which is a little early for me, since I wanted to sleep in. I asked if we can cancel the breakfast, the answer was no. I also asked if she can check with the manager, since if she throws in this information before she swipes my card I would not pay for the breakfast. The answer was no, she will not ask the manager and I cannot talk to the person either, they will not refund anything under no circumstances.
Next morning we woke up and tried the breakfast we paid for. They have a small hot and cold selection, and some terrible coffee. So we ended up eating a little and bought a coffee in their coffee shop where they serve some semi decent coffee for a charge next to the breakfast area.
I also wanted some extra towels which I received after I got an earful that each guests entitled for a large and a small one and nothing more…
In a nutshell, if you want a large and clean room, this is your place.
If you want a good service and breakfast, you might want to go elsewhere.

Excellent city break

The apart hotel and the cafe bar are very good, well positioned, clean and with extremely friendly staff. The rooms are big enough for the short term family stay. I enjoyed a lot morning coffee in the bar downstairs. Perfect location for site seeing and easily accessible by car.

Room ok-ish but horrible breakfast

The room was ok, except for the fact that the bed was full of other people’s hair and that the shower was creating a flood in the bathroom because the door was not closing properly. Breakfast was extremely poor and we were entitled to just one coffee/tea (half a cup), even if we paid 10 euros per person. When we asked for an extra coffee we were told that the portion was one coffee per person and nothing more.

Kratki odmor

Jako lep i čist hotel. Sobe/apartmani su veliki improstrani, imali smo i kuhinju koja nam nije trebala.Osoblje je ljubazno i na usluzi. Doručak je raznovrstan i sasvim dovoljan. Hotel ima garažu ali bilo je mesta i ostali smo na ulici. Do Anna Furdo ima oko 900m a centar je na polovini tog puta. Sve je blizu i lako za snalaženje. Sigurno ponovo dolazimo u ovaj hotel, često idemo u Mađarsku zbog banje. Sve preporuke❤️
