Very nice place

We booked this place because it offered eight beds, the apartment was very big with two double rooms, one single room and one room for three (one double and one single bed). It has two bathrooms: one with shower and the other with a bathtub, but it was possible to use it like a shower. Important and unexpected fact: every bathroom had a bidet, which is essential for an Italian! The apartment had parquet in the bedrooms, big windows and a small balcony. In the living room there was a tv and a Bluetooth sound implant. The area was quite and near the city centre, at 5 minutes walk from a subway (Oktogon) and 2 minutes walk from a minimarket (Spar).
We found just a few problems: two of the mattresses had blood spots, two bed had broken slats, there were some burnt leds and one kitchen pot with burnt food ibside, which made it unusable. Two air conditioning machines didn't function properly.

Discreet

Great location and very well served. Our apartment had a well organized sleeping area with two bathrooms and laundry room / storage room.
Very small living area and no possibility to cook.
Building to be heavily reviewed, very dusty, with piles of abandoned bags in the lobby. No elevator

Superb location great hosts!

We stayed here for 3 nights over new year, the room was small but the location was excellent and the en suite was finished to a high standard and the storage available was fine for a short stay.
Everything is within around 30 min walking distance and the metro is less than 5 mins from the front door. Please be aware this accomodation is up two flights of stairs then a further spiral staircase, no good for anyone with mobility concerns.
The hosts were fantastic with great communication and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived at an unearthly hour and they ensured we were greeted, they also stored or luggage on leaving day and arranged a taxi to take us back to the airport.
I would definatly recommend here for anyone wanting to explore Budapest without breaking the bank.

spent four days in these apartments: cannot fault them . excellent location extremely clean . two great sized bathrooms . good sized bedrooms apart from no mirrors in any bedrooms ☹️very helpful guys on reception .

Tiny room, convenient location

The guesthouse is located on Kiraly Utca which is a lively area with a number of pubs and restaurants and not very far from the ruin pubs. All the key tourist sites are easily accessible by either the tram or metro which are walking distance from the guesthouse.
The guesthouse was difficult to locate since there were no signage outside the building. We wasted almost an hour trying to locate the apartment. After finding the apartment which is located on the third floor of a fairly old building, the entry gate was closed and there was no one at the reception to let us in. We wasted a further half hour trying to get in touch with the host for the keys to the apartment which was pretty annoying.
The guest room has been recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. The airconditioning was effective and very welcome given that Budapest was quite hot when we travelled. The room had a hot kettle and a microwave was also available in the reception area. However the room was extremely tiny with no wardrobes to store our stuff. The bed and luggage pretty much took up most of the available space in the room. While our stay was comfortable, this guesthouse is not the best value for money in Budapest.
