Budapest finest in 2026

Stayed three nights and this place is the real deal. The location is unbeatable, with St. Stephen’s Basilica basically at your doorstep.
LOVED that ceilings are close to four meters high, tall windows, custom furniture that feels considered rather than catalogue.
ISSEI on the rooftop is the highlight. Nikkei cuisine (Japanese meets Peruvian) sounds like a gimmick until you taste it. Watching the Basilica light up at night from the terrace with a cocktail in hand is one of those moments you stop talking for. Service was warm and unpretentious (check the pictures!)
Staff across the hotel were genuinely lovely, breakfast was solid, and the whole place feels like a real boutique experience rather than a corporate template. Already looking at dates to come back.

Radisson Collection - Budapest

I stayed at Radisson Collection Budapest and found it to be a great choice.
The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around the city.
The room was comfortable, with great design and had a great view of the basilica.
Breakfast had both good variety and quality.
The rooftop area is very pleasant, with a restaurant and great views over the city.
Nice option for Budapest!

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the rooftop bar restaurant, which closed for renovations the day we arrived. That was a deciding factor between several properties. So that was not great.

Best hotel in the country

Amazing hotel very comfortable rooms very calm, great breakfast and service. Atmosphere is amazing and staff is super friendly. Specially reception guy Misha is super professional super friendly I wish professional like Misha was all over the hotels.

Excellent staff, a wonderful, speedy early check-in, a beautiful property, and a fantastic location! From the beds and pillows to the beautiful room, a totally five-star stay!
