Location, location, location!
Walking distance to many interesting places, restaurants, and close to the train station. The room was quiet (except for noisy neighbors on our last nite) and exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay again.
Only issue was none of the ice makers on ANY of the floors worked so you have to go all the way to the bottom floor to get ice.

This was, unfortunately, our last stay at Radisson Béke Budapest.
We understand that check-in officially starts at 3:00 PM. We arrived at around 11:00 AM and were happy to wait in the lobby, hoping that if rooms became available, we could check in a little earlier. Instead, we watched several guests who arrived after us receive their room keys before we did, while we were repeatedly told that no rooms were available. We have no explanation for this and sincerely hope it was not because we are from Israel. Regardless, it left us feeling unfairly treated.
The experience became even worse on our last morning. After breakfast, both of us suffered from severe stomach problems, strongly suggesting that something we ate at the hotel was not safe.
The hotel’s maintenance is also below the standard expected from a Radisson property. On the 7th and 8th floors, there were cobwebs on the light fixtures, clearly showing that cleaning in the corridors is neglected.
It is also frustrating to find facilities that simply do not work. The ice machines on the guest floors were out of service, and the shoe-cleaning machine on the 7th floor was also broken. If these amenities are provided, they should be maintained and operational.
We expected much better from a Radisson hotel. Poor maintenance, concerns about food safety, and the way we were treated at check-in made this a very disappointing experience.
We will not be returning, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.

We would, however, like to address one important point. We categorically reject the suggestion that your nationality had any influence on your check-in experience. At Radisson Blu Béke Budapest, every guest is treated equally, regardless of nationality, religion, or background.
Early check-in is always subject to room availability. When a specific room category has been booked and the hotel is fully occupied, guests may need to wait until a room of that category becomes available, even if other room types are ready earlier.
We also take your comments regarding breakfast, cleanliness, and maintenance seriously, and they have been shared with the relevant department heads for review.
We regret that we were unable to provide the experience you expected and wish you all the best in your future travels.

Great hotel in central location

Perfect location just 5 mins walk from main train station. Staff were really friendly and we were able to get into our room early with no extra charge, which we appreciated. Cafe in reception area has lovely selection of cakes on offer. Room was big, very clean and had everything you needed including bath robes and slippers. There were free cookies and refreshments always available near the lifts which was a nice touch.

Great Stay for Business & Leisure – Highly Recommended!

Overall Verdict: A great place to stay with excellent amenities, though vegan dining options are limited.
The Stay: 6 nights (Business trip)
Pros:
Excellent Location: Conveniently situated.
Top-Notch Service: Highly courteous staff with quick check-in and check-out.
Great Room Setup: Very comfortable bed and pillows, plus a well-stocked mini-bar.
Nice Touch: The room featured a cozy corner with two armchairs, a table, and a dedicated reading light.
On-Site Dining: Convenient café and restaurant located right inside the hotel.
Meeting Amenities: I attended business meetings here, and the service was great—adequate coffee and snacks were consistently on offer.
Cons:
Limited Vegan Options: The restaurant menu lacks vegan variety; staples like vegan pizzas or burgers were missing.
Note on Accessibility: My room on the 7th floor required walking up a couple of extra steps. This was not a deal-breaker for me, but it could be an irritant for older guests or travelers with mobility issues.

Stayed 3 nights. Not a good experience. After a long hot day walking we came back to the room to shower and sleep. No hot water in the shower. We were offered an even smaller room - not ideal for 2 adults and a child. Perhaps another room would be available tomorrow so we stayed put. The next day reception hadn’t been notified of no hot water in the room and weren’t aware of the problem. The water returned by itself so we stayed. The room was very basic and cramped. Room service at night was very limited and even at that what I ordered wasn’t available. Every night I was woken up by banging doors. The beds are ok and pillows are uncomfortable. It’s basic and surprising for a 4 star. The location is quite good. Half an hour to the river.
