nice ambience

Stayed in the old hotel, the new building is still not operational, but the restaurant there is nice one, with good food and good service

The hotel is grossly overpriced. At best it's a 3 star hotel. I was upgraded to a suite in the new tower. Decore in the tower is bland gray and white. Staff in the tower were indifferent. The ladies in the breakfast room in the old building were pleasant and accommodating. The night I arrived at 0245 AM there was loud music blaring from the old wing of the hotel which I could hear through the windows. The old building is in desperate need of renovation. The new tower is monochrome gray and white.

⭐ 1/5 – Disappointing Experience and Poor Management
I recently stayed at Pegasus Hotel in Georgetown, Guyana, and I have to be honest — the experience was extremely disappointing. Several elements of the trip were mismanaged: rooms and amenities were below expectations, staff communication was inconsistent, and basic safety and service standards were not met.
Despite repeated attempts to address issues during my stay, I received minimal assistance. Meals were inadequate, the pool was closed during high temperatures no outside space due to republic bank party, and essential items in the room were missing or broken. The hotel’s response to complaints was slow and ineffective, causing unnecessary stress.
While the location and building itself are acceptable, the lack of attention, oversight, and professionalism significantly diminished the experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve future guest experiences.

Expensive but unfriendly and not very clean hotel

The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast was reasonable but rooms were not particularly clean although they were spacious. The staff was mostly very grumpy, only few of them were friendly the others were not neither friendly not helpful. If you try to eat in the garden bar you might plan for at least one hour before you get your order. Must say the burger I had was good but took very long time to place an order and to get a meal. Everything is overpriced
