Great choice
The accommodation is located in Gyala in Nimborio 5-10 minutes by car from Giallo.Mrs Katia polite, pleasant & always there to serve you-help in what you need!The room clean, finished, superfull, will make your stay pleasant throughout your holidays.The environment quiet with plenty of parking space.I will definitely visit it again!

Exceptional
First time is Symi and i could not pick a better accommodation. Katia and Antonis have been absolutely outstanding and rather i felt part of a family rather then a guest . I wanted a peaceful and calm place where to stay away from the noise and pollution of Symi port but close enough to be able to reach it on foot.
I highly recommend Emporio if you want a peaceful vacation close to Symi port. Antonis kindly picked me up on arrival and kindly waited for me outside the supermarket while i bought my shopping . I was allocated a very large apartment , super clean , spacious with everything i could possible need overlooking the fabulous bay of Emporio.
Katia was always available and helped greatly when i had an issue with my phone , they also offered few times to drop me to port while they were going to town. I loved the 35 minutes walk along the bay so relaxing listening the wind blowing , birds singing and watching the infinite panorama along the path , idyllic. Place is super safe even for solo traveller like me . Local people are friendly and very respectful of privacy. A good tip is next door there is a lovely hotel with a great restaurant which i use for breakfast and sometimes dinner and also they offered transfer service to external guests which i used a lot in the evening

Idyllic quiet hotel in peaceful bay
'Panorama Thea' is a small hotel just above the bay of Nimborio on Symi. Symi island is smart, but the Nimborio area is a quieter & simpler side to the island, perfect if you want to spend time relaxing in nature.
Panorama Thea is made up of a three story building of apartments with balconies or terraces overlooking the bay of Nimborio. Next door is a small studio with a terrace, where we stayed. It was the best of Greek accommodation: clean, comfortable, air conditioned, mosquito nets, great water pressure in shower, very well equipped kitchenette, and our terrace was spectacular! Large, with flower beds, washing line, dining table, chairs & sun shade, another couple of tables & chairs (our cocktail area!) plus a long stone bench built at the side of the building which gets the shade in the afternoons, so it is the ideal spot for your siesta! Just in front of the terrace is a perfect white church set amongst pine trees, behind which you can see the sea.
Panorama Thea is maybe a two minute walk from a small sand beach with a fantastic little beach bar, and perhaps a four minute walk from a larger shingle beach with sunbeds and the excellent taverna Metapontis. Symi town is a couple of miles away, reachable by a beautiful walk down the coast road, a quicker inland walk, or the fairly frequent boat taxis.
Panorama Thea is owned and managed by a lovely couple, Katia & Antonis, who are very helpful and friendly - even driving us to the 4am ferry free of charge... I recommend their hotel 101%.
