Wonderful quiet location

I really enjoyed the quiet location of the accomodation: all studios had their own terrace with gatden views a bit away from the beach road. It was very quiet indeed.
The room provided everything: aircon, fridge, hairdryer, iron, kettle, kitchenette with cooker and kitchen utensils. Despina is the lady who is taking care of the property and she is very kind and helpful. The beach, a few mini markets and restaurants are all a short (2-5min) walk away. A bus stop is also 1min from the property but buses only operate a few times a day when not in high season. Some hiking trails also start just behind the property.
I would always stay here again ad I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Nice place to relax

Rented 3 rooms, we were allocated rooms next to each other which was nice, 2 had a double bed and the 3rd had 2 single beds which were joined together (no issue). The room was a decent size with a kitchenette and a balcony if you wish to stay in your room, only minor issue was size of the bathroom a bit small. The site is off the main road, but only a minute walk to the the road and a couple of minutes to the beach, also close to the bus stop. It is on the quieter side of Platis Gialos which is nice with the majority of the restaurants a few minute walk. The greatest asset to this hotel is Despina who looks after the property, she was fantastic, helpful if we had any questions, very friendly and would always check if we were ok.

The place to stay in Platos Gialos.

An excellent choice to stay in Platos Gialos. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation. It was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and was situated just a short distance from the beach. A lovely hostess who was extremely obliging and couldn’t do enough for us. Would thoroughly recommend.

Perfect stay in Milos

We really enjoyed staying at Giannakas studios, the flat we stayed in was lovely and had all the amenities we needed and more. It was also nicely decorated and spacious, with a terrace which was perfect for breakfast or just chilling. The beach and all the restaurants and cafes are just a 3 minutes walk away, and it's easy to drive to everywhere else on the island. The management at Giannakas is welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend the studios.

Greek island retreat

A pleasant surprise tucked away, not exposed on the main road like most of the rental apartments along Platis Gialos beach, so we thought to be quite lucky actually. It's footsteps from the most magical beach of Sifnos, that is, Platis Gialos beach. The best restaurants in Sifnos are also along Platis Gialos beach. Regarding the rooms, they are spacious, superbly clean and organised, and the bathroom is petite but very charming, constructed in very Greek island style (For those who like interior design, it will give you inspiration). We had a large balcony, with charming country style tables and chairs. Greek hospitality of the staff so warm and welcoming, once again, going above and beyond for their clients. Thank you for offering us the soup of the day (Sunday) and our parting gift of your home made lemon liqueur. We will miss you. Kalimera et merci beaucoup.
