This was called Irida Studios when I booked via Booking.com

I'm not sure why it's called Aphrodite as we booked this exact studio and it was called Irida Studios. Apartments are small, very cleaned, and well maintained. We had a brand new aircon unit. The pool is nice, but not a lot of shade what is a shame is the road is very busy, and it's hard to park and then get back onto the road again. It's a bit of a walk down to the beach too from here. A sponge scourer, tea towel, and washing-up liquid were provided as well as shampoo and soap, etc in the bathroom.

Beautiful location, wonderful host. A great base to visit the best of Corfu.

Our hostess (Elizabeth) was helpful and informative with our initial email contact, ahead of our first visit to Corfu. Elizabeth was very welcoming and the poolside room was spotlessly clean. Lovely, clean cotton bedding was refreshed throughout our 7 day stay. We had a very adequate bedroom with balcony and a smart, clean shower-room. We could park within 3 metres of our room and the pool was about 5m from our front door. We chatted with Elizabeth every day, and were very grateful for the recommendations (restaurants and places to visit) that she gave us. Great restaurants started about 15m away - all the way down into Paleo'. We will look forward to staying here again. There was nothing "not to like". We know good from bad, and wouldn't shy from being critical - if that was deserved. Like Jeremy Clarkson said when he tested the MX5: "I've only given it 5 because I can't give it 14".
Our only hesitation in recommending this accommodation, is that we don't want everyone else blocking our chance to return!

Stinking dump

This place should be demolished , we stayed in Lissipio shack for 7 nights late August 2014 I have been to Paleokastritsa countless times and never did we stay anywhere so dirty We could'nt even hang our clothes in the wardrobe because of the stench , And as for others on here saying its cheap for what you get ! well it wasn;t cheap for us .

Nice location- poor accommodation.

We were in the Annex.The rooms were very cramped, especially the toilet /shower room and the kitchenette.
The room we were in for the first night was very dirty. We were moved to a cleaner room the next day. The standard of maintenance is extremely poor.
I had to fix a leaking toilet flush myself. I do not expect to have to carry out
DIY on holiday!

Did what it said on the tin!

We stayed in the annexe across from the pool, basic and dated, but clean rooms with enough room to function and mess up. There was a fridge, kettle and hotplate, but lets face it nobody wants to cook! Locationwise, just set back from main road, so pretty quiet with inland view and about 35 mins walk to main beaches. You get what you pay for, and would stay here again! Decent.
