A wonderful retreat with perfect hosts!

We have just returned from a week staying here with Dimitri and Caterina as the perfect hosts. The setting is ideal overlooking the sea down below and brilliant sunsets too. The villa is set in a large garden and pool at the side where breakfast is taken (extra). As said on other posts the breakfasts are enormous and will set you up for the day. All home-cooked pastries, pancakes and fruit and yoghurts and eggs beautifully served. The rooms are adequate with a kitchenette and sitting room and AC for those who want to do self-catering. Although there are a few restaurants and shops down at the main road it is much better to rent a car - and the island is jaw-dropping with spectacular views up in the mountains. Another world away from the beaches far far down below. Visit the abandoned air base above Karya - spooky! Some of the beaches on the west side are pretty hairy to manoeuvre with hairpin bends aplenty but well worth it in the end. It depends what kind of holiday you want but we found Agious Nikitas and Nydri very over-developed and touristy with tacky bars, restaurants and a kiss-me-quick atmosphere. Lefkada is an amazing island and perfect for exploring and the Villa Elenia is the perfect place to stay! Go there!

Amazing Villa

Villa Elenia was absolutely wonderful! As a family of 4, we opted for one of the sea view suites, and accommodations were fantastic. Super clean with living room, bathroom, and kitchen. Enjoyed the dining in the village with great grill evenings, and wonderful fish.
Jimmy and family are super friendly and helpful, ensuring you are well cared for during your visit. He guided us to some favorite beaches and what to expect. Breakfast that Jimmy prepared for us was amazing, and delivered to our room due to rain that day. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you to the family!

Meraviglioso/ Amazing

Really a great place to spend a couple of weeks in a real greek island. Dimitrios and Katarina are lovely hosts and you will enjoy every moment of your stay at the pool or in your apartment. You can also enjoy breakfast, grilled fish and many amazing greek dishes if you want and agree with the hosts. We’ll be back for sure in the future.

Welcome to paradise !!!

Welcome to paradise !!! That's how the time spent there felt like. The apartment was so beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean, also having a large balcony, overlooking the entire valley and the sea. Being situated up on the hill, you cannot hear the traffic or any other noise ... for a great quality sleep, this is the place to go. The pool/bar area is fantastic, superb decorated as the entire garden. That's where you can enjoy a brilliant breakfast for a great start of the day. A big thank you to the owners, which were fantastic, very helpful and always smiling.
P.S. Make sure you try the mojito !!!

Amazing!!

This property is beautiful, from ocean view setting to beach decor. The property is new and has high end finishes.
Our hosts prepared a delicious breakfast each morning featuring both Greek and American dishes, including outstanding American coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.
We felt at home from the moment we arrived and hope to return next year.
