10 wonderful days in the first Villa with my family.
I recommend this particular accommodation unreservedly if you want perfect views, spaciousness and friendly environment.The manager of the accommodation very helpful from the first day, gave us all the information we needed,

One of the most incredible places to stay in Lefkada
We had a large group booking for a birthday celebration and everything about the villas was absolutely perfect. The views are even more incredible than the photos. The villas themselves are luxurious, spacious, clean and comfortable. Spiros and the property management team are absolutely fantastic, and helped with everything at every step, even helping us plan our outings around the island. I can't recommend Diodati enough!

Great outside space and views but let down by internal space
My wife and I stayed in the smaller of the three villa's during May 2022. You will struggle to find better views on the Island and the pool area is great making the most of the views. Although the smaller villa is a 2 bed villa, we found it very small even though there was just two of us. The kitchen/ dining area/ lounge area is tiny and would not seat 4 people and had no TV. We therefore found ourselves spending most of the time that we spent indoors in the bedroom. The advert states flat screen TV and a satellite. Not sure a 19 inch monitor and not a single English speaking channel ticks those boxes so come prepared with a VPN to gain access to sky tv on your laptops. We also had non customers staying in a room underneath our villa from time to time which is far from ideal when you are looking to enjoy the space that you are renting.
Communications was great, clear instructions provided and the Manager was very helpful.
If we were to do it again, especially for the views, we would opt for the bigger villa's where the inside space is I suspect would be better for relaxing in the evenings.

Beautiful location and amazing hosts!!
This is the third time my family have traveled to Lefkada, and we all agreed that next time we go to this beautiful island we will be returning to Diodati villas!
We visited in May 2019 with my family and stayed in villa Asteria. The villa was the perfect layout for all of us and so well thought out with equipment. There were 9 of us staying in total, my parents and younger brother stayed in the villa upstairs, my elder brother and his partner stayed in the studio, whilst my partner and I stayed in the apartment downstairs. It made such a huge difference to us all having our own front doors to walk in and out of, and to still have our own space as well.
The photos online do not do any justice for the views from the villas. It is a 5-10 minute drive (with a few hairpin bends) from Nikiana town, but once you are at the top it is completely worth it. The location also means it is very peaceful and quiet (apart from the occasional goat walking down the hill ;-) ).
Dione and Kostas were quite simply the most hospitable hosts we have ever had when staying in a villa on holiday. From leaving washing tablets in the villas for our laundry, beach towels for us all and helping us move furniture, to offering my partner a pair of shorts when he got pushed into the pool!! Nothing was too much to ask and they were a pleasure to have around!!
Whilst we were here, my partner and I got married at NV Beach Bar down the road. We therefore had a number of guests staying in Nikiana, including some close friends staying in Villa Arion next door. At different times of the holiday we had 20+ people at our villa for bbqs, drinks and jamming sessions on the guitars. Kostas and Dione just made the whole experience even more perfect by welcoming our guests as if they were all staying at the villa as well, and joining in with us all!
If you are looking for a villa that will accommodate large groups of friends or families and will offer everything you can think you would need on holiday - and more - look no further! This place is everything you could possibly need it to be!

Dreamy location for family
We chose Villa Aethra for our stay. We were a family of four (including 2 children aged 7 and 9) travelling with my mum, so this was perfect in respect of the property including a 2 floor, 2 bedroom villa and a seperate pool level apartment. Everything was perfect, from the booking process, to communicating with Dioni pre-arrival to make ad-hoc arrangements, to the welcome we had upon arrival.
This was our first villa holiday, but I have worked in the travel industry for about 25 years and the standard of the villa blew us away! The decor and furnishing have been selected with love and care. So much is provided for you such as pool towells, laundry capsules for the washing machine, washing up liquid and sponges, dishwasher tablets, plus a beautiful welcome basket with local produce.
We loved the owners and spent some time with them, getting to know them and they are both genuinely good fun, kind and passionate about their businesses.
The villas are located up a bendy road about a 5 minute drive from the main road on which you will pass local cats, dogs, sheep and goats which all add to the flavour of the place. Up on the hills, you have amazing views across the water and hills.
We really could not recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back in the next year or two.
