Wonderful place

We just love this hotel. We keep coming back to Kydonia Studios whenever we are in this part of Crete. Super friendly, so peaceful and quiet. Always clean and has absolutely everything you need for cooking your own meals. Enough shops and restaurants are in walking distance if you'd prefer to be lazy though. The beach is super close by but the pool is lovely too.
We can absolutely recommend Kydonia Studios for families and couples who like it quiet.

Quiet and nice holidays

I spent 3 weeks in this nice, clean and quiet place. The pool is in a lovely garden with beautiful flowers. The woman who owns the house really loves her garden. I used the pool everyday. The beach is not far away and it invites for walks and to enjoy the great view. Each room has the possibility to cook and a refrigerator.

Not exactly as advertised...

We booked a studio based on multiple positive reviews. Firstly, the pool is much smaller than the pictures show. Also, there's a huge building site right in front of the studios, which is loud throughout the day. There is no pool bar despite what it says in the description. Rooms are cleaned daily but the bed sheets were only changed twice in a 7 day period.

Nice studios tucked away not far from the beach

On arrival, there was no one around so we had to wait for the lady to turn up with the key to let us in. We phoned England and our travel company contacted her and she soon arrived. Lovely lady she is too. The first room we were given was 109 (I think) right by the pool. Not ideal because you don't really have any privacy and we like to sit and eat breakfast, etc on our balcony/terrace. This was too exposed. We asked for a move and were accommodated straight away. We moved around the back but unfortunately cant remember the number of the room! It had a beautiful terrace and was very private. Fabulous base for the beach and if you come out of the apartments and head right, there is an amazing complex called the Eanthia. We spent most of our days there by the pool or on the beach. They have an amazing restaurant and I've written a separate review about that complex. But the Kydonia is a fabulous, mid-priced block of studios that are a fabulous place to base yourself. A shame there is no food available there but there are lots of places to eat. The lady who owns it is lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely stay there again if looking for a quiet, (cheaper) break in Gerani.

Nice vacation in Gerani

Me and my boyfriend stood in Geranimal for a week and we had a wonderful experience here in Kydonia Studios. Very quiet place, pool always available and clean. Even the room was cleaned every day, it has been an incredible service!
