A good place for families and couples with a very high quality/cost ratio

I spent in sunflower 10 days in August 2019 with my wife and daughter. We housed in a two-beds studio with an extra bed. The studio was large (so it was confortable for three persons), at the first foor with a good terrace and a nice view on the sea (the terrace was also protected from Meltemi, great!). The studio was cool and with no mosquito. The kitchenette was basic but confortable to cook dinners. Clean room and bathroom. Maria and Niki are very nice, the gave us precious information on the island and tasty housemade cakes. Niki (he is a fisherman too) gave me also some information on the best spots to go fishing (usually fisherman are very jealous of their spot!!!). The studio is only 5 minutes walking from small, wonderful beaches and confortable rocks to dive in crystalline water. The cost for the studio is low considering the quality of the studio and its position. So I suggest Sunflower Studio to anyone I will surely house there if I will come back to Karpathos (that has among the best beaches that I have seen in the egean see).

Just like staying with family

We stayed at Sunflower Studios for 2 weeks as first time visitors to Karpathos. We have stayed in many self catering studios throughout Greece over the years, and for us, this has to be one of the very best. Nick and Maria are brilliant. The welcome is genuine, the supply of spring water is great, and these guys are helpful in so many ways. Will we be going again? Yes, definitely. Would we recommend staying here? For sure.

Perfect stay, amazing owners!

Our stay at Sunflower studios was just perfect. From the moment we arrived, the owners, Maria and Nick, did their best to please us and we ended up becoming friends. Our room was on the ground floor, it was very spacious, super clean, quiet, with direct access to the garden and good view of the sea. We will definitely be going back and we highly recommend Sunflower Studios to anyone who wants to enjoy a hassle free vacation!

Quiet Location

We had a top floor room with a great view. Although listed as Amoopi this is actually in an area called Kastellia. Just 1 very good taverna nearby ( 1 min. walk) but many more within 10/15 minutes. No direct access to the beaches but again 10/15 min. walk. Nik & Maria are great hosts and our room was clean and modern. Lovely large furnished balcony. 3 main beaches in Amoopi and all are covered in sunbeds.Just about found space for our own mats. Spring water is delivered to your room by Nik free of charge, nice touch.

Wonderful

The rooms are clean, spacious and fully equipped. Nice view and typical local atmosphere, very quite and beautiful garden. The owners are very friendly and helpful always ready to provide any kind of information and support. Gentle and generous they offered us oil of olive and fruits from their land and salt from the wonderful karpathian sea. They provided all clients with fresh water every day and tried to accommodate to your needs. They make you feel home.
