Isolated, charming Elegance

Beautiful views, friendly staff and generous and comfortable accommodation. Our stay at Provalma was wonderful.
Specifically, the accommodation is up a hill a few kilometres from Chora town, Yiannis picked us up from the Port. However, we quickly realised we needed a car as it is a little isolated and no basic tea, coffee, drinks are provided. The local car rental firm Evo was terrific one call and 40 minutes later a little Fiat 500 was delivered to Provalma for 40 Euros a day. Problem solved. We used this car to drive back to the ferry and they just picked it up from the car park there, could not have been easier.
Breakfast at the Provalma was in the room overlooking the stunning view. You chose your continental items and it was delivered at your preferred time, again a lovely touch. This is a quiet contemplative place to stay, we loved it.

View of All Views

Fantastic stay at this small hotel in Folegandros. The rooms are huge, with lots of sleeping and living space. And they're arranged to take maximum advantage of the view. The breakfasts are generous and served in the room, but otherwise you'll need to eat lunches and dinners off the property. There are a few good options nearby: a hilly walk away. Lots more options in Chora, a lively, charming town. The island is not the easiest to get around, but there's pretty much only one road, so having a car is kind of useless. This place is ideally suited to real relaxation, rather than sight-seeing.

Fantastic Place to Stay in Folegandros

Everything you would want in a getaway trip to a beautiful Greek Island. 5 star service, 5 star accommodations. Great breakfasts in your room every morning and views that are unbelievable to soak in. Thank you!

Provalma a Welcome Haven

My husband and I visited Provalma in August of 2026. This was our first time to Folegandros and we quickly fell in love with this beautifully clean, unspoiled island. Provalma is very centrally located to both Chora and Ano Meria which are both minutes away from the property. There are 5 rooms and we stayed in Embati which was quite spacious for our 5 night stay and featured a lovely kitchenette and sitting area. The views from our room of the ocean and hills were spectacular. Hands down the most priceless attribute of the property is the family and staff that run it. Yiannis, his mother, father, and Luis make you feel truly welcome and special. They are truly lovely people who made the experience feel personalized and unique. We hope to return again soon!

Our stay at Provalma was nothing short of incredible!
We were greeted by Yiannis, the hotel owner who arranged for transportation from the port straight to the hotel. He accommodated us with an early check-in and coordinated with local vendors an ATV rental during our stay.
The hotel houses 5 suites on the premise which guaranteed a very quiet and peaceful environment. The property was extremely cleanly and well maintained. One of our highlights was the included breakfast which was both generous and listed many homemade local delicacies (i.e traditional Greek pies, cheeses, jams, breads).
Located in Ano Meria, the hotel has breathtaking views of both the sunrise and sunset.
