Lovely place
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pignolia Suites in Crete. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the south of the island, this is the perfect place.
The apartments are spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you need. The bed is large and incredibly comfortable, the shower has excellent water pressure, there is plenty of wardrobe space, and the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your own meals.
The balcony has two separate seating areas, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings at different times of the day. Although the sea is a little further away, you can still enjoy lovely sea views in the distance.
The pool area is absolutely stunning. Every detail has been carefully thought out, creating a stylish and elegant atmosphere with soft beige tones that blend perfectly with the surroundings. The pool itself is wonderful—not too cold—and there are clean toilets and showers available by the pool. The pool bar is open throughout the day, making it easy to enjoy drinks and snacks whenever you like.
Breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a fantastic selection, including freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries, several egg dishes prepared to order, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and much more. Everything was fresh and delicious.
What truly makes Pignolia Suites special is the staff. They genuinely do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Their hospitality is exceptional, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
One thing to keep in mind is that the apartments are located on a hill, so guests with limited mobility may find the walk up to the accommodation a little challenging. Also, while there are no real villages within walking distance, there are several beautiful bays nearby with tavernas where you can enjoy the sea. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants in the area, but a car is definitely essential to make the most of your stay.
We would highly recommend Pignolia Suites to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and genuine Cretan hospitality. It's a place where you can truly unwind, and we would love to come back.

Beautiful complex with dream views
A wonderful complex with 8 apartments,super nicely furnished with everything you need.Well equipped the kitchen,comfortable bed,separate toilet and separate shower.Beautiful balcony with partial sea view.Beautiful pool complex with free sunbeds,towels and slippers.Owner couple incredibly friendly and attentive. Facility is on a hill above the main road.Car imperative to get up there on foot very strenuous, moreover, nothing is within walking distance.Nearest beach reachable on foot in 10 minutes,however, due to this all is steep, good on foot.Not recommended for wheelchair users. We loved the facility. Facilities very neat and very clean.Breakfast is offered as needed.

Rather dim; the two bedroom suite is nice but there are areas for improvement in my opinion; shelves to put clothes (there is only one and hangers) the rooms are not large and it is not easy to use the washing machine (very convenient however), the dryer should be changed also.
In the second bedroom the shower “opens” on the bed!!!
The terrace is perfect , the jacuzzi very well even if it was not really clean (some brown moss and sand at the bottom).
The most negative point for us was the Welcoming (little or no explanation) and the breakfast: plastic dishes, bread crumbs thawed on request, butter at room temperature while the fridge is right next door.
I had paid for 4 breakfasts we only had one and preferred to buy it in supermarket.
Last point the cleaning is only done every other day and it is up to you to make your bed!!!

Haven of peace!!
Location, quiet, equipment, decoration, jacuzi, friendliness of our guests, everything was perfect. There is even a washing machine! We stayed there 1 month.
On the other hand the quality of the services of the cleaning company and that equips the rooms, lacks quality. Maria the property owner knows this and tries to find a solution. It is only for this last reason that we put only 4, because otherwise it would be a 5/5!

Luxury & calm
We had the chance to stay 2 nights at Pignolia Suites. The apartment was luxurious, decorated with taste and attention to detail.
A quiet place, surrounded by steep hills, a magnificent swimming pool with the possibility of having a glass of wine, a squeezed orange….
And a breakfast to match with helpful and friendly staff.
A dream 2-day stay.
