Excellent Hotel with view, location, service
Excellent Hotel, awesome hospitality, super nice location, with the best panoramic view of all Astypalea and the historic castle , very clean rooms, relaxing , the owners host you like you are family, classy hotel

Splendid apartment with a view of Astypalaia
Splendid apartment with a jacuzzi on the balcony and a view of Chora and the Venetian kastro of Astypalaia. Excellent and varied breakfast, staff and owner very kind. Excellent cleanliness and daily towel change. Well-equipped kitchenette, courtesy set, slippers, bathrobe, and towels dedicated to the jacuzzi.

The perfect stay!!!!
Sixth time in Astypalea Sixth time in Andromeda resort!!!
The best hotel on the island, the best view on the island, the best service on the island.
The beds more comfortable and from our house with wonderful pillows and unique cleanliness!!
The hospitality of Rennes is simply incomparable!!It is the soul of the hotel.All cared for and cared for with love!!
As much as we love Astypalaea, if we don't find a place to stay at the Andromeda resort we won't plan our visit to the island!!
This incredible view that all rooms have is the driving force to withstand the winter in Athens!!!

Watch out for the ghost chamber
Our experience was unfortunately very negative. I had booked the hotel well in advance for a special occasion, but on arrival we were greeted by a room that did not correspond in any way to the images proposed by the ads. So be very careful if you book through a portal (Booking, eDreams and others) because the images of the 8 obviously renovated rooms are shown - on Edreams, where I booked, we talk about '8 rooms' total, just as 8 rooms are shown in the appropriate section on the official Andromeda website - but there is a ninth. Here the furniture is clearly older, there is a single small window in the corner that allows neither natural light during the day nor to change the air, the bathroom is small and poorly maintained, with no space for your things and with a shower curtain too short that caused the room to flood every day. Ultimately, not the room you would like to book by seeing these beautiful images - especially since for a lower amount there are much more beautiful facilities on the island.
To our complaints, they replied that we were to blame for not finding the photos of that room. I challenge you to look for them on their website: here too 8 rooms are shown, the only way to see the ninth is to make a real proof of booking. They then proposed to move us to another 3 rooms (because there was one free for the whole stay) BUT adding 250€. That is, paying them to solve a problem caused by them. Luckily the island is beautiful and we stayed in the room very little, but it was one of the worst experiences in many years of travel.
For the manager (who was quite rude during the stay and will respond here accusing me of ‘inexperience’ instead of admitting the existence of the problem): to avoid unpleasant situations like this, it would be enough to add to the images on the website and portals even photos of room n. 9. So those who book would at least have the doubt of being able to get there, without having a trip ruined. If you accuse customers who point this out, I'm sure you'll still get reviews like this in the future.

The Best Place to Stay!
Another wonderful stay at the Andromeda in Astypalea. The rooms are modern spacious and spotless, all offering beautiful views of the Chora and the sea from your balcony. There are quite a few steps to reach the property, but it is absolutely worth it. Irini is the most gracious host, the breakfast is amazing, and they also offer free transportation to and from the airport. Highly recommend!
