Don't hesitate. Just go!

First time self catering for 25 years so had some reservations.
Don't know what I was worried about!
A real jewel. Family run oasis. Seen a few reviews which were not complimentary but things have obviously changed since they were written. Nice rooms, lovely pool, well stocked bar, meals and snacks prepared on order. The very best thing ..... The family and staff. I was welcomed from beginning to end as part of the family. Caring, fun, inclusive and such a generous spirit.
I have already planned my return next year. Can't wait!

DO NOT BOOK HERE

The perfect place to stay if you want to film a horror movie. Blood and yellow stains on the walls and almost every bed cover. Now about the service, we are talking about someone who doesn't care about the amount of money you give him, and he lets you know it by being rude both in person and on the phone. Not a single room service, and not a single positive word about my staying in socrates studio. If you are considering to stay at socrates studio this is your sign to NOT BOOK HERE. There is no pool on this place (according to the photos there is). It's the first time in my life writing such a negative review, just because I've never had such a bad experience before. Lastly if you end up booking here, when you arrive and see all the mess don't inform the reception, in our case he became aggresive...

Avoid at all costs

Try to charge extra for aircon
( there’s no fans in rooms )
Not clean
Mattress is terrible springs stick in your back also mould ( see pic ) can also smell the mould
Place is neglected not cleaned not updated in any way

hotel “ , I’ve stayed in many budget hotels in zante & had a great stay not this one , you’d be better off trying to sleep leaning up against a lamppost

Peaceful and friendly place

socrates studios is in a very quiet area between laganas and agios sostis 30 meters from laganas beach and its an ideal spot for your vocations during summer.Ideal for couples and families .the rooms are clean and most of them have see view balconies

Sjajan odmor u Laganasu

Vratio sam se pre 8 dana sa Zakintosa, tačnije Laganasa.. A imao sam takvih predrasuda zbog priča od ranije.. I shvatio NE VERUJTE MEDIJIMA..
Jeste da ima nočnog zivota, ali to je jedna ulica od 500m koja je od našeg smeštaja bila udaljena cca 5 min peške.. Ništa mi čuli nismo niti imali probleme..
Smeštaj je sasvim OK, korektan. Ima stvari koje bih malo promenili jer se vidi da je potreban mali update zbog toga sto je to ipak letnja destinacija i veći deo sezone je zatvoreno.. Malo krećenja ili farbanja ne bi odmoglo.. A sa druge strane, za iznos para koliko smo platili, bilo je više nego zadovoljavajuće.
Higijena je bila korektna. Bio je evidentan manjak sobarica na početku ali se to popravilo posle 3 dana.. kazu da je problem sa radnom snagom u svim sektorima, i u prodavnicama, i u rentacaru.. maltene svaki kafić ima oglas da trazi radnike
Plaza je extra. Nemam ni jednu jedinu zamerku...
Cena je sasvim adekvatna, pa ljudi za ove pare sa sve avionom nemate ni za krevet kod babe u Bečićima...
Izbor za hranu je ogroman. Mi smo imali odmah pored supermarket gde smo se redovno snabdevali potrepštinama za doručak.. za večeru smo eksperimentisali sa picama, girosom, ribom, pastom.. svaki dan nešto drugo i to je sve bilo jako jako pristojno.
Veza za grad je super, autobus vozi cca 15min jer ima par stanica usputno..
Sve u svemu, svaka čast
