Home away from home
Great location and warm and friendly atmosphere. Everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your time in Tbilisi. Eka is a fantastic host. A few metres walk to the metro station and surrounded by many restaurants and shops.

Good value for money
Clean and cheap guesthouse and friendly host. Not to close to city center and maybe room and bathroom are too small. But I recommend it if you are looking for a clean and economic solution in Tbilisi.

A great base for exploring Tbilisi
I stayed at the Sky Guest House for five nights in September 2015, paying 40 Georgian lari (around 11 GBP) a night for a single room (room only). Although breakfast can be provided (at a cost of 15 GEL), I had it outside; there are several good cafes within a minute's walk of the guest house.
First and foremost, I should mention what a charming, helpful and caring owner Ekaterina is. She takes a genuine interest in her guests and is always willing to spend time chatting to them and answering their questions. She is keen to ensure that they enjoy their stay in Georgia.
The guest house is small (four rooms only) and there is a lively communal area on the ground floor (I met some delightful fellow travellers there). It is situated at the end of an alleyway just off a busy main street in a sort of gated community, which is home to a number of Georgian families. This gives it a very authentic feel. I also felt very safe there. The guest house is quiet as it is not close to the main road, so there was no disturbing noise from traffic.
My room was a reasonable size and was simply but comfortably furnished, with a fan and a rack for hanging clothes, as well as a small wardrobe and bedside cabinets. The bathroom/toilet is shared. There is free wi-fi Internet access, although the signal on the second floor is apparently weak; it was fine in my room on the first floor. Guests are welcome to use the washing machine on the ground floor.
The location of the hotel is very good indeed. It is only a minute's walk from a metro station (Marjanishvili). From there, it is only two stops to Tbilisi's main square, Liberty Square (Tavisuplebis moedani), which is close to the most interesting and photogenic part of the city, the Old Town. The main railway station is also very close (only one stop away from Marjanishvili). Before catching the Metro, you should buy a card for 2 GEL, which you can top up as required. Be warned that the escalators are twice as fast as those on the London Underground - and you need to be quick when getting on and off trains.
As mentioned previously, there are a number of good cafes and restaurants close to the Sky Guest House. I would particularly recommend Folk Garden (Agmashenebeli 62-68 - on the opposite side of the main avenue from the guest house) and Shemoikhede Genatsvale (Marjanishvili 5 - a five minute walk from the guest house, close to the river).
I though that it terms of value for money Sky Guest House could not be bettered. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to travellers on a budget. Ekaterina is a kind and helpful lady whom one could not forget and it is she, I would say, that makes her guest house such a special place to stay at. I really liked Tbilisi and found that there was plenty to see and do there. It is also a great base for exploring other parts of the fascinating country that is Georgia, one that is not yet affected by large-scale tourism.

Great stay, friendly hosts
I spent 1 night here, Koka and Shota are very good hosts.
It is 1 stop on the metro or a 20 minute walk from Freedom Square, in a great location with great restaurants nearby.
I would not recommend the place for people who want a quiet, early night though. :-)

Очень душевно, прекрасная хозяйка
Были вдвоем с подругой в мае 2017. Нам очень понравилось расположение - рядом с метро , но можно и пешком дойти до всех достопримечательностей. Душевная хозяйка Экатерина, общительная. Отель находится в глубине итальянского дворика. Очень колоритно! Комната - кровать, две тумбочки, зеркало, шкаф. Туалет - один на этаже - на две комнаты. Все чисто и уютно. На первом этаже кухня - можно что-то приготовить, но зачем? Вы же в Грузии!!)))
