Thanks Salome

We stopped in this guest house for 2 nights during our Caucasian trip. We made the reservation just a day before our arrival and we decided to stay a day more because it was very comfortable and we decided to visit Ushguli too. The building is very very nice, next to one of the many ancient towers. Everything is so clean and accurate. I remember the nice smell of the blankets... The place is kept by a very young and smart girl, the beautiful Salome. She made giant and tasty breakfast for us, in particular we liked her granny’s rice salad. it’s really easy to find this place, it’s soon after the city center on the left, near Lanchvali caffè (there’s a sign about this bar). We reached it with a Hunday i10, so don’t worry about the street. We had a spacious room with bathroom, it’s seemed to be all new. There’s also a nice balcony where people can get a rest. What a nice staying we had here... thank you Salome!

Small and beautiful

İt is very small and not very touristic yet. There are some guesthouses you fell like at home, owners are very kind and nice. There are just a few restaurants, meals are big and good service is little bit slow because its not so touristic but they are very kind and helpful too. Also food and drink is very cheap. They use lots of coriander in the meals, it is a bit strong taste and if you are allergic like me a few days later you can have some problems. If you are allergic or sensitive about spices you should bring some food with you.

Don't miss this!

Mestia is perched high in the mountains offering gorgeous views into the valley.
It gets cold at night, but nothing a little chacha can't handle.
I'd spend a night or two, but do not miss out on the svaneti adventure! By far the most beautiful drive I've ever done!

Beautiful atmosphere

Mestia is my favourite place in Georgia. Up in the scenic area of Svaneti, a quiet place. It is mainly a base for hikes and rides in the area (such as to Ushguli) but I think it is worth visiting for itself. We stayed in Natali guest house opposite the local municipality. A very small guest house, comfortable, clean and hospitable.
Mestia is quite touristic yet it is quiet. The village is well restored but you can still see cows around...
There are many guest houses, cafes and restaurants - just stroll around and explore...

Excellent service, clean and nice room with nice amenity, balcony with great view, unforgettable hospitality, best location, new building, fresh air, amazing mountain view, tasty food, I highly recommend; definitely I will go back for longer trip.
