Amazing and friendly owner, she keeps the small hotel in pristine condition. Very clean, at a super quiet location, fantastic views on the towers and the river, nice balcony, I only can give a 10/10 for this gem.

Very nice owner. Such a kind lady. They organized a driver to Ushguli that was the best driver. It is about a 10 or 15 min walk to the town center, depending how much cha cha you have had. Very quiet location

Guesthouse Gio was the best place we stayed in Georgia and one the best travel experiences we've ever had. Tina and Irina are the kindest and most hospitable hosts one could imagine and they made our stay in Mestia truly special. We highly recommend staying here, and the longer the better! Tina is a wonderful cook and breakfast portions were beyond generous. In addition to suggesting things to do and places to eat in Mestia, Tina was also tremendously helpful in arranging a day trip to Ushguli that conveniently picked us up and dropped us off at the guesthouse. Views from the rooms and deck are gorgeous in every direction. We cannot wait to return!

awesome days in mestia

GuestHouse Gio is awesome.nice place to stay. Very cozy. It's wooden and you can see mountains, a river and svan towers through the window. There is a cool summerhouse
The service is nice. Everybody is very helpful, kind and warm. They are really hospitable. They go the extra mile for their customers. There was a group of more than ten of us and we all felt really welcome in this guest house
Gio is one of the places I have enjoyed most in Georgia.
