Beautiful place

This bed and breakfast is a hidden gem. We contacted Bruno about 6pm and were lucky enough to find a room for our family of 4. We arrived at 10pm at night the same day and were pleased to find It was a suite with a separate room for the children. It is tastefully decorated, the beds are amazingly comfortable and the garden is beautiful. 3 of us are coeliac and as we only contacted them the evening we were arriving we didn’t provide any time for them to specially source food but the chickens in the garden provided fresh soft boiled eggs and GF crisp breads, cheese and organic fruit. Absolutely stunning place and lovely people. Would thoroughly recommend! Thanks for having us!

A wonderful stay!

My wife and I attended a wedding at the nearby Chateau Vallery and had been looking for a highly rated hotel or B&B to stay at for two nights. This charming old, totally updated farmhouse was just the retreat we needed. The suite we stayed in was in the 2nd floor and has a spacious queen bed and overlooked an expansive and lush garden of flowers and vegetables. It had a large pedestal sink with a newly renovated shower, and another room with one double and one twin bed (can sleep 5). We visited in June, and while the outside temperature was in the low 30’s C. the A/C unit did a wonderful job of keeping the whole area cool.
The house has a total of three guest areas. The other suite has two bathrooms and accommodates six people, and another room sleeps two.
A wonderful breakfast is served daily, and the welcoming hosts, Alice and Bruno, are very accommodating and will serve you at almost any time you’d like.
They are a gregarious couple happy to share their knowledge of the area.
The unhurried pace of the French countryside envelops you here in a truly pastoral scene.

Could not have been better

We arrived after a long journey and were immediately put at ease by Bruno.
Our ground floor room was spacious and delightful with views of the well kept garden.
Breakfast was in the family room and we enjoyed fresh eggs from Bruno's own chickens
together with other organic produce. I would highly recommend this hostelrie, Pastorale is an apt name for this.

Remote, but well worth the stop

We stayed at La Pastorale on a long journey from Bordeaux and chose it mainly on the strength of previous reviews. A great choice. Very comfortable. Excellent hosts - with a very cute baby! You should be aware that Vinneuf is quite sleepy - no restaurants within walking distance - but the dinner recommendation for Au Bon Labeurer in Bray-sur-Seine was excellent matched only by a delicious breakfast full of home-made goodies. I have no hesitation in recommending.

A fantastic retreat in the countryside of Bourgogne

This fantastic countryhouse is run by Bruno and Alice, a very nice couple of young people that leave nothing to the case and will make your stay unforgettable! Rooms are very spacious, very well furnished and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is a killer, home made jams and fruits served with freshly baked bread and croissant all served with a beautiful view of the coutryside.
