A good campsite
We booked late this year and took what we found and the dunes campsite does not have to blush in front of the "Big" outdoor hotel .. finally what is the difference between a 3 or 4 stars apart from a big slide at the pool is a children's club .. especially when the campsite is clean, that the mobile homes are new or in good condition .. nice location by the sea, good Welcoming, only downside the eco diktat that blocks you air conditioning to 25 if I want to be cold I would like to be able to adjust my air conditioning as I see fit that's why I paid an air conditioned mobile home .. and cleaning. Maybe at the end of the season a little borderline...
But overall I recommend this campsite very friendly..

Un paramétrage à 25 degrés est parfaitement optimal pour un locatif de 30m2 si et seulement si les portes sont fermées convenablement. Cordialement

Old French campsite
Old French campsite.
The campsite is outdated, not beautifully landscaped. The campsite consists of 3 parts, with 2 public roads through it. You need a code to get from one part to another. You will be sent out of the pool if you have a swimming trunk (shorts) on. You have to wear tight swimming trunks, including the kids. There is no store, but the reception sells some items. Nothing worth mentioning. The beach is directly adjacent to the campsite. Beach is sand with pebbles. Water is getting deeper fast. Not suitable for small children. The animation is entirely French.

Avoid at all costs.
Unacceptable, pool only open at 10 a.m. even though we are in the middle of a heatwave! Baby items super dirty even though we have a 2-month-old baby! AC wasn't even set up even though we arrived at 7 p.m., cleaning was dirty even though the mobile home was supposedly cleaned the day before. Greasy knife, dirty dish rack, handprints on the wall, torn wallpaper, broken window in the bedroom that was stuck and impossible to open, broken and dirty fridge bins, shower water temperature impossible to adjust despite someone coming to fix the problem; however, it's the same issue in all the mobile homes. Pool shared during activities (but also with insects and hair because it was barely cleaned in the morning), so no space at all. Spider web that had easily been there for 3 weeks. Bird poop on the window that wasn't even cleaned despite us pointing it out. And the gate to access the parking lot is a mission where you almost lose a hand, given that it's between a wall and the gate bar.
In short, truly unacceptable for a 3-star hotel, and don't tell me that the services we expected are from a much higher category because even in a 1 or 2-star hotel you are welcomed better; I speak from experience.

Very disappointing stay at Campsite La Dune. True, the beach is close, but that is the only real positive. The mobile homes are small, aging and very ill equipped: uncomfortable bedding, questionable cleanliness on arrival, and nothing to do with publicity photos.
The pool is ridiculous for the size of the campsite, impossible to relax because it is so crowded, no lifeguard but someone in charge of safety who jumps at the slightest opportunity to take someone who has his taps on a wooden floor (result a thorn in the side ). As for entertainment, it’s really the bare minimum, and teenagers get bored quickly (only Aqua dance twice a day and very light “animations” in the evening at restaurants that prevent people from eating quietly ). There’s no need to rely on Wi-Fi: there’s only one in the bar/restaurant, and it’s always cut off.
Cleanliness that leaves something to be desired, ants that literally invade the entire mobile home (also beds), nothing to try your feet at the entrance of the mobile home, and tap water not very drinkable considering its taste in chlorine. A warmth to die as soon as you enter the mobile home accompanied by the smell of closed
Services are limited: no real supermarket, just a bread depot, so forced to take the car to do the shopping. Traffic in the campsite is highly regulated, sometimes to the point of being annoying. Often unpleasant staff whether at the Welcoming or the hut
Frankly, given the rates charged, we expect much better. For a successful family holiday, I recommend looking elsewhere

Nous sommes désolés que notre camping vous ait donné autant d'insatisfaction.
Cependant nous souhaitons apporter des éléments qui selon nous ne méritent pas de jugement négatif ou tout du moins qui n'auraient pas du vous surprendre et créer de la négativité.
Vous soulignez que le camping est proche de la plage et en effet cela à fortiori nous éloigne des commerces, rien n'indique sur notre site que nous avons des magasins d'approvisionnement sur site. En effet le dépôt de pain que nous avons a la Paillotte nous semble être un minimum.
La circulation "ultra réglementée" comme vous le citez est notre plus gros point fort! sécurité des enfants, tranquillité des parents, pas de nuisance sonore et olfactive et de ce fait des locatifs espacés qui permettent de ne pas être "les uns sur les autres". Cela ravi le plus grand nombre de nos clients.
Des animations au cœur de notre espace de vie la Guinguette rien d'anormal et dans un camping c'est même un incontournable.
Notre piscine n'est certes pas très grande mais a le mérite d'exister et si le "monde" (semaine du 15 aout) vous importune allez profiter de la plage pour avoir plus d'espace.
Nous prenons note de vos autres remarques et ferons notre maximum pour y apporter les améliorations nécessaires.

Start of stay on Sunday 10/08/2025 very disappointing...
First impression arriving on Sunday 10 August at 3:00 pm, it is necessary to wait 5:00 pm to collect the keys. A hostess advises me to go to the pool where there is shade... I call it shade by the drop: bar side, 5 tables with wooden logs roof allowing the sun to pass and pool side tiny mats that shelter nothing at all...
No draft beer, only canned beers...
The pool is crowded because it is too small.
I went to the seaside and when I came back, I wanted to use the sanitary corner next to the restaurant: catastrophic because no cleaning since???...I preferred to go back to the bungalow.
On the bungalow side, the coffee maker takes 30 minutes to pour a coffee and on the shower side, it is either hot or cold...
On the plus side, we ordered 6 pizzas, at the seaside restaurant, which were rather appreciated!
Here, I hope tomorrow will be nicer...
