A haven ..

For the 3rd time, we came back to the Cross of Sandstone.We are regenerated and resourced from this new passage in this island of calm and this setting of nature.We loved our cottage Le butterfly, with this magnificent terrace that offers an incredible view from the morning for breakfast until dinner of the long summer evenings with the touching light that accompanies them.The pool allows to enjoy the place in peace.Everyone can find what he is looking for , between massage by the river and contemplation ..And in the heart of this area, there is Noelle .. our available and respectful host .. a beautiful meeting of beautiful person ...We will return to the Cross of Sandstone, a 4th time and +....

Magic !

Beautiful place, quiet and relaxing. Well decorated cottage, with great taste. Excellent bedding (important) and a very friendly welcome from Noëlle, the owner. What more can be said ? Ah, sublime swimming pool! A must we will come back.

Much more than a stay, an experience to live

An arrival with a very warm welcome, you will discover a host full of joie de vivre and infectious smiles accompanied by her little doggie who is also happy to say hello to you.
As for the place and the history of it I have never seen that. It is a haven of pay that our historical heritage allows us to discover. The pictures speak for themselves.
Much more than a stay, it is an experience that I highly recommend. Take the road, then turn into this small forest path to go to the gate of this little paradise…. After? Time stops.

Charming, relaxing guest house

Hello, my name is Tami and I’m from the USA. I’m staying at La Croix du grès for 7 days. I find this guest house a very charming farm house and very quiet. I could not believe that i started to feel relaxed the 1st day of my stay. I find that because it so near the highway, You could get back home fast after a long day of exploring.
But what impresses me most is noelle, the owner of this guest house. On day 1, I made a few requests and she took care of my needs right away. If you are looking to stay in the country side, I really recommend this.

A must if you are looking for something different

While travelling around Europe for a couple of weeks, I decided to book my stay based on the very positives reviews I had seen on this site.
I must say that my first encounter over the phone with Noelle (owner) was a very pleasant one. Although some restrictions have been put in place due to COVID-19, she took the time to explain the different options this massive estate has to offer.
She made sure that she was home when we arrived to welcome us and explain the facilities on offering.
This place can easily take up to 20 guests, nevertheless the way it was layout, you do not have to spend time with the other guests if you do not want. The only common place is the swimming pool, but she put a restriction on having young kids so the place stays peaceful.
If you are looking for a standard and classic stay, it may not really be your cup on tea. The house is uncommon and decorated in a very rustic style thus why I decided to stay here.
The perfect choice for the perfect stay. If my trips take me back in the neighborhood, without a doubt I will stay once again in this little paradise.
Thank you once again Noelle for making my stay an unforgettable one and I can only wish you all the very best moving forward!
