Pleasant stay but WiFi was an issue

Stayed here with my 2 children for a few nights. Perfect location as a base to explore the DDay beaches and Bayeux for the tapestry. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the hosts are exceptionally friendly. My only issue was the WiFi connection didn’t reach our room which was an issue with 2 teenagers. Would recommend

Fantastic Hosts and accommodation

This is the first time we have stayed at Villa Tracy over the DDay celebrations period and cannot fault the hosts or the hotel,the room was amazing clean and tidy the breakfast fresh and location to the beach and town perfect will be staying again

Fantastic accommodation and facilities

Crystal and Jean-Paul are wonderful hosts. The accommodation is excellent and our room was more than adequate. It is so close to the town that you can leave your car in the secure car park and walk into the centre. The breakfast was excellent and they made our stay so memorable that we want to say with them again in the future. Thank you both for your care and attention. Denise and Marc

Arromanche............History of D-Day is all around you!

The owners Crystal and Jean-Paul are very attentive to the needs of their guests and speak excellent English.
There is ample safe car parking.
The bedroom and shower/toilet was spacious and the décor was well maintained.
Breakfast was served at 0915hrs and was freshly prepared and plentiful.
A 5 minute walk will bring you to the town of Arromanche which has plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars.
The following points were on the negative side:
The replenishment of toiletries or coffee/tea was not carried out after our arrival.
Use of the lounge was not available for use in the evening.
Room 3 has some particularly quirky angles in the ceiling and was an assault course in itself in avoiding a bang on the head!
The history of D-Day, 06 June 1944 is laid out before you.
When walking these beaches and streets, please give a thought to the men who brought liberation to this town and those who paid the supreme sacrifice!

When is a Sea View not a Sea View?

When is a Sea View not a Sea View? When its a Sea View at Villa Tracy. If you can remember the Fawlty Towers episode where Basil says to the woman "You CAN see the sea! It's over there, between the land and the sky!", then you will understand what I mean.
If you are looking to squander a large amount of money on staying somewhere where it is not reflected in the quality, then Villa Tracy is for you. Along with this is the eye watering €10.00 breakfast, yes as if fleecing you for a glamorous school dormitory wasn't enough-they also need you to pay over the odds for breakfast. The room was clean and tidy though so I had no issues there, there is free WIFI (when you can get a connection).
Overall it would be best looking elsewhere for a place with more character in Arromanche, but if you are keen to throw your money about and don't really mind the zero charm of this place then go for it.
