“Simple but well placed hotel, good value for money”

Pleasant stay at the Hotel Restaurant de la Citadelle.
Very welcome, friendly staff. The hotel is very well located, especially on the Durance River, with a really nice view.
The room deserves a little refreshment, but remains decent.
The cuisine is simple and good, the breakfast is correct, and the whole thing offers good value for money.
Cons: no free parking in the immediate vicinity.

Broken promises and lack of hygiene

Hotel that could be superb on paper: beautiful renovation, magnificent view...
BUT THE REALITY IS QUITE DIFFERENT!!
Gross lack of hygiene:
Sloppy housekeeping, dirty trash, hair and hair everywhere. The floor was so dirty that it is better never to take off your shoes.
Reservation not respected:
We asked for two beds, we had a double bed. No solution offered, impossible to change rooms or cancel because of the “non-refundable”.
The staff is friendly, but clearly not up to it.
Far too many problems for a stay that is supposed to be pleasant.
TO AVOID!!!

Not recommended.

Not only was the hotel untidy and smelled like mold in the bathroom, but the staff were also frivolous. As we were checking in, the staff started pretending to wrestle behind the counter? Extremely strange entrance through a garbage room up to a staircase that smelled of smoke. The front door to the entrance was also unlocked all night, which the staff shrugged at. The location was very good.

A great welcome by Maxime, a lovely young man, clean and cheap room by booking directly. Resto in the evening, we ate very well. A nice city in the evening to take a short walk. The room on the river side too nice varied breakfast. Thank you, Maxime. The bikers. A nice step...

A very pleasant step in a majestic and welcoming place

A majestic site in a very nice hotel whose rooms have been renovated. View of the Durance and warm welcome. Meals taken in the evening at the hotel restaurant, a hearty plate of champaur with good regional products
