We Couldn’t Stay Anywhere Else Now!
The problem with Les Hauts, is that now we’ve stayed there, we don't want to stay anywhere else again!
A truly stunning venue and incredible that the new owner has brought this amazing building back to life to so many to enjoy.
The hotel team were so helpful and welcoming from before even arriving, and definitely during our stay, aiding with queries, reserving restaurants and even providing milk for our English Breakfast tea in the room.
We can also recommend the eBikes and made the most of a stunning ride around the local area.
Thank you so much four our stay, it won’t be the last and we can’t wait to visit again and see how it continues to develop with time.

Outstanding Experience
My husband and I visited for 3 nights in June/July for our honeymoon.
The Chateau is located at the top of Sancerre and you can see it while approaching.
We were blown away by the beauty of the chateau and the kindest of the staff, Emma, upon arrival. We were met at our car and taken to the chateau where we were met with a cold glass of Sancerre to welcome us before being shown to our room whilst giving us some information regarding the history of the building.
The rooms are immaculate, simple but stunning, with all amenities you could wish for. Lovely and quiet, with a very comfy bed! The views are breathtaking and each window holds a new part of the landscape to appreciate.
Breakfast was magnificent and would highly recommend. We also used the spa which was a delight, very private with just one treatment room.
Sancerre itself is gorgeous to walk around with plenty of places to eat as well as local shops to enjoy.
Our final night we ate at the restaurant within the hotel, this was extraordinary and truly one of the best meals we had ever eaten. The staff were so knowledgeable of both the food and wines of the region and it was a delight.
We did not want to leave and hope to revisit as soon as possible.

Expensive treat in the heart of Sancerre
Wonderful hotel and grounds in the heart of Sancerre. Stunning building and gardens with great parking ( we had our camper van and good space for the two nights). Gardens and pool had lovely views. Pool had just opened and a delight in the crazy heat. Great to be able to walk straight into village for restaurants and wine shops. The stone used to parking and drive is not a good choice. In the dry the stones have been ground into dust and covering cars, shoes and gardens. Breakfast was very expensive (33 Euros per person) and not good value. Would have expected more cooked food options. Not attentive service in the morning. Evening 4 course meal was lovely and staff were wonderful, but be aware of the very high price (our meal for two with wine was over 250 Euro). Great AC given the extreme heat. Rooms was spacious and ver comfortable. Decor is stark and minimal (and very white!).

The location is unique, right in the heart of Sancerre, with an absolutely spectacular view of the vineyards and the valley. The renovation of this castle is remarkable: a perfect marriage between historical charm and refined contemporary design, executed with impeccable finishing.
The gourmet cuisine is of a very high level and perfectly showcases the products of the region. Every detail has been thought out to offer comfort that meets the most demanding standards.
