This was the worst experience ever. Our stay was confirmed and paid for but when we turned up we were told that there was no booking. We showed the extremely unhelpful person on the desk our confirmation of booking. It made no difference. Despite several attempts to get some kind of positive response we were told that they had no room for us, ignoring our confirmation of booking email. There was absolutely no concern expressed about the situation, despite the fact that we were obviously an older couple, who just wanted what we had booked. We were shown the door!
There was no other option than to sleep in our car. Not ideal when temperatures are 34C+. Also not ideal when one of us is in his eighties and I am in my seventies.
Due to power outages I was unable to use my phone to contact the booking company I had used and had to wait until the following day to do this, by which time it was too late to do anything other than give us a refund, which was confirmed immediately. No argument with them! The blame is squarely placed on the hotel. Avoid it like the plague.

Back today and already I feel "to write" in a positive sense.
It is not a hotel "in the true sense of the word ", but an excellent bed and breakfast comfortable and enveloping, in a familiar and charming.
Very close to the center (within walking distance) and excellent base for visiting Saint Tropez (with the comfortable green boats ) and other resorts on the French Riviera.
Great value for money.
I highly recommend it for those who want to spend a holiday under these canons.
