Good table kept by professionals

New owners very friendly and competent, the chef knows her job. The kitchen is family and traditional, the prices are correct. The setting is soothing and to see.
Comments from before the reopening in mid-April should not be relied upon as they only took up this matter on that date.

Cosy accommodation in picturesque surroundings

The "Gîte Le Shantoné" is located in a picturesque setting high up with magnificent panoramic views. It is an ideal starting point for hikes. The well-known ski resorts can also be reached in a relatively short time.
Here in the restaurant there are very good food and also a delicious breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. We would definitely come back!

Definitely to avoid

Minimal accommodation, bed without sheets, no towels or soap, no comfort at all but worse, the owner is agressive and do not try to help. Shower most of the time without hot water. There is much better place to stay around.

Nice and peaceful place

We spent one lunch, one dinner and one night in this “gite” and we enjoyed it... its relaxing atmosfere and simple location.
Very simple dishes in the restaurant and good prices.
We did not understand very well the difference between some double or triple rooms...both with 3 beds.
The only suggestion from our side would be to warm a bit more the rooms, because a bit cold...
