Overnight stay
It was a fabulous stay! Thank you very much. The food was delicious,fresh and local. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. The owners do not speak much English but that didn't make the stay difficult at all. the owners were very charming and I would recommend this place to stay to anyone. Ann

To flee, asks you for extra money
Our overall Impression is more than negative and the confidence in managers is highly questionable.
While this cottage is in the name of Madame it is Monsieur "Marco" who welcomed us on site. All we had to do was give our identity without any further control.
The gourmet dinner just meets the definition of a meal of this type without any local specialties (pasta and slice of chicken, thawed blueberry pie share). Drinks are charged as advertised but nowhere is it indicated that this service is authorized by law (licence 4).
Breakfast is strictly continental in the sense of its definition but the products are not fresh but frozen in front of us and especially no croissants and even less local specialties. We were allowed one coffee but we did not venture to ask for another as the service is controlled.
As we expected the Check-out was confrontational. Owners claiming the payment of an additional 30 euros in addition to the drinks consumed and the normal tourist tax. We refused to pay as SmartBox had written to us, which resulted in us being called dishonest in the presence of other residents because we had received a message specifying this surcharge. We told them they had to make this official with SmartBox. They claim to have done so but that due to the lengths nothing was yet visible and that in any case the money SmartBox gives them does not cover the actual cost of the service. They went so far as to criticize us for turning on the electric radiator (7 degrees in the room when we arrived) and taking a shower justifying the extra cost just as they subtly blamed the other residents for leaving the light on at 3 a.m.
We are bordering on cops and dishonesty.
In short, combined with the absence of a licence 4, we question the lawfulness of the service and strongly recommend not to go.

Awesome !!
We had a very pleasant stay with Sandrine and Mario.
Their cottage is located in a quiet and relaxing setting, where we spent a good night's sleep in a nicely decorated room.
They also provide very good advice on places to visit, places to park, or even restaurants to try in the surrounding area.
We really enjoyed the moments of life shared around a good meal, with them as well as the other travelers.
We recommend !

Un paradis sur terre
Un accueil au top de la part de Sandrine et Mario.
Une chambre propre et bien décorée avec une literie confortable. La chambre était très bien chauffée même trop chaude pour nous.
Le repas avec cuisine familiale de bonne qualité et très bien cuisiné ( nous nous sommes régalés)
Nous sommes également venus avec une box et nous espérons en recevoir une autre afin de revenus aux beaux jours.
Merci pour tout et ne changez surtout rien.

Expérience et séjour décevants
Week-end réservé par le biais d'une BOX ; plus que décevant . Accueil froid, expéditif
Nous nous sommes demandés si nous étions à la bonne adresse !!!
Dirigés dans la chambre, nous nous sommes gelés pendant 2 heures , à devoir conserver nos blousons . Nous y découvrons un message de participation financière de 5€ par jour pour compenser les hausses du prix de l'énergie = nous n'avons pas été prévenus et cette pratique est illégale . Repas prévu à partir de 19H30 - l'hôte nous informe qu'elle est grippée alors que nous étions à table ! Super ! Le repas : plat + dessert - bof ... pas d'entrée ni de fromage...le camenbert est pourtant Normand non !
Au moment de partir, nous avons tenté de défendre notre avis , sans succès.
La note fût salée pour 2 boissons, un petit déj et une participation exorbitante au coût de l'énergie.
Nous sommes rentrés malades de notre week-end au Moulin de Grainville ......
