Heavenly stay

After ten days spent at the “Le Paradis” campsite, we continued our journey with a heavy heart. François and Julie are a wonderful couple and we were truly in paradise.
Beautiful locations, very clean sanitary facilities, etc.
We have been living in a camper van for about a year and have done a lot of camping. We have never met such extraordinary managers with a family spirit!
It’s a shame that the campsite was bought by a group.
Another big thank you to François and Julie to whom we wish good luck

Total disappointment

The charm of this campsite is gone with Julie and François, and the price has become aberrant! Does the swimming pool have to go every day from morning to night to amortize the cost? I was gonna come back, but I don't want to.
Good continuation
Friendships to people of value who brought this campsite out of the doldrums. To Julie and François.

Prohibitive Award for Service

Hello,
This campsite is no longer municipal ( Managed by ONLY Camp ) So make an estimate of your stay => Prohibitive Awards for the service ( old and poorly distributed S. block ) . (We never paid so much for a pitch! so we only stayed one night.)
=> Not being a big or big template , nor reduced mobility , showers are very small . => Only one cabin with a sink , per block S.. ( two blocks) . = little privacy . Three toilets only per Blocks.
Campsite with large shaded pitch. Clean toilet block overall. Very pleasant managers.
We regret that we did not go a little further at the municipal campsite of Saintes.
Municipal campsites are becoming scarce... but what a shame!, Awards are attractive and often well maintained!!

A Pleasant Surprise.

We arrived expecting the usual municipal site basics and grubby. What a pleasant surprise to find a well kept site with clean facilities, mown grass, and large pitches. The icing on the cake was the family run restaurant; small but excellent service and quality food. Thankyou and best wishes to the family.

French hospitality at its very best

We returned to this lovely small campsite after spending a few days here in 2019. Carole Bouyer runs the snack bar on site, and she is one of the kindest people we’ve ever met (and one of the best cooks!) She and her partner, Marco, and daughter Camille, were so welcoming to us once again, introducing us to friends from the town and playing with our two young kids. Their little dog, Malisse, is beautiful, too!
Pons is beautiful- medieval architecture with a sleepy little river, traditional restaurants and cafes. There is an excellent municipal pool a few metres from the campsite which we visited a few times (free entry if you stay at the campsite). We visited Ile d’Aix for the day to cycle and swim- fantastic (a recommendation from Carole which we followed-up).
Our final evening there was great because the campsite staged a small concert of ‘Philty Projects’- a brilliant covers band.
We will definitely be back
