We stayed at The Chess Hotel for one night with our 9-month old baby. The staff was absolutely incredible from the moment we checked in. Our baby started crying in the lobby and the manager David gave him a stuffed bear and he cheered right up. The room was perfect and a travel cot was set up for us before we arrived. It was super clean, stocked with essentials, and AC worked amazing. We were grateful they let us store our luggage after check out and called us a taxi to the airport when we returned. David even got us a changing pad for the bathroom without us even asking! We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Paris!

2nd visit and still good

2nd visit and well worth it. The hotel is a short walk from Opera and the galleries Lafayette in a safe neighborhood. Reception is on the 1st floor and at night you use your key to get it. Friendly staff.
Stayed in a suite on the 6th floor large enough for 3 people or 2 adults and 2 children.
One small comment, cleaning could be a bit more thorough especially in the bathroom. Would return and highly recommend.

This hotel was a sight for sore eyes on our last day in Paris. We had stayed on the other side of the river our first few days, then traveled around and spent our last evening in France back in Paris. This hotel is in a perfect location, clean, quiet, FANTASTIC AC, clean room with nice amenities, and very helpful and kind staff. I would stay here again if I came back to Paris. It seems like it would be loud since it feels like it’s in a busy-ish area, but it was quiet and felt very safe with a 24/7 secure entry.

I stay at Hotel Chess every year since 2019 (except for the period during the pandemic) and absolutely love it. It is my home in Paris. I can't think of any other place to stay in Paris.

Great Stay, wish I was here longer

This was a great experience. Every person working was incredibly customer service focused. They made great recommendations for food and even called us a taxi as we were leaving. This was the second hotel we stayed at in Paris and between the two, I would stay here again. Great value and comfortable room. The shower was large and luxurious. The icing on the cake was that the hotel had air conditioning.
