We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Excellent, polite, friendly staff. Room was lovely clean, great aircon,spacious and very quiet. Breakfast was nice for what we needed. Check out was 11am -we were able to leave our luggage in secure room so didn’t have to lug them around on our final day. Would def stay here again if staying in Paris.

Awful breakfast, very small room, disappointing location & some unfriendly staff
Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standard expected for a hotel at this price point, and I would like to raise several issues regarding both the accommodation and the service received during our stay.
Firstly, upon arrival we were extremely disappointed by the size of the room. There was very little space to move around comfortably, and the room felt far too small considering the amount paid. When I raised this concern at reception, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked but another room could be shown to us. However, the alternative room was more or less identical in size and equally unsuitable. When we explained this, the staff member showing the room simply responded, “Well, this is Paris,” which we did not consider to be an acceptable or professional response.
In addition, the service from reception staff, particularly one female receptionist, was consistently unfriendly and dismissive. Every request seemed to receive scripted responses rather than genuine assistance or customer care.
There were also repeated housekeeping and maintenance issues during our stay:
• Tea and coffee supplies in the room were not consistently replenished.
• On one occasion, replacement towels were not provided.
• We requested an iron and ironing board, but the iron supplied had tape sealing the electrical cord, which appeared unsafe and potentially dangerous.
The breakfast experience was especially disappointing considering that breakfast was charged at approximately €17 per person per day.
The breakfast selection was extremely limited and poor in quality. On different days, various items were missing. The available options generally consisted only of:
• sausages or bacon,
• scrambled eggs,
• a small amount of ham, cheese and chorizo,
• pancakes,
• very small croissants and pain au chocolat,
• limited cereal options.
There were also repeated operational problems:
• On the first morning, there were no glasses available for water or juice, and we had to request them.
• Staff explained that they “did not expect so many people,” despite the hotel clearly being fully booked.
• On Monday 26 May, there were no eggs available at all during breakfast service. We did not arrive particularly late, yet the breakfast area was crowded and understocked.
• Again, there were no glasses available, and we had to ask for them.
• When we asked the breakfast staff about the missing eggs, we were told that there simply were no eggs.
As a result, breakfast on our final morning consisted mainly of cereal, bread, some cheese, chorizo and tomatoes, which was far below reasonable expectations for a hotel charging these rates.
When I raised my concerns at reception regarding the breakfast and lack of eggs, the receptionist dismissed the issue by saying it was a public holiday and that they were “getting some.” This response was not satisfactory, especially as we were leaving early the following morning and would not benefit from any later replenishment. Instead of addressing the issue properly, I was simply handed a complaints form.
Overall, we were very disappointed with the standard of accommodation, customer service, breakfast quality and general facilities during our stay. For a hotel costing almost €200 per night, the experience fell far below acceptable standards.

I am extremely disappointed by the complete lack of compassion shown by this hotel.
I booked a two-night stay on a non-refundable rate in good faith, never imagining that we would have to cancel our trip. Unfortunately, my daughter became seriously ill on the day of our departure from Brussels, forcing us to cancel our stay.
I fully understood the booking conditions and did not demand a refund. I simply asked, as an exceptional gesture, whether the hotel could show some flexibility. I took the time to call and explain the situation personally, and Booking.com even contacted the hotel on my behalf in an attempt to find a solution.
The response was a flat refusal, with no flexibility whatsoever and no alternative offered, such as a credit voucher or the possibility of postponing our stay. Beyond the financial loss—since we also lost our Eurostar tickets—it was the complete lack of empathy that disappointed me the most.
Every hotel has the right to enforce its booking policy. However, when an establishment chooses to show no understanding at all in the face of an unexpected family emergency involving a sick child, it says a great deal about how it values its guests.
I am sharing this experience so that future travellers know what to expect. If something completely beyond your control happens, do not expect any understanding or goodwill from this hotel.
I will not book here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Great Hitel
Location very good and close to the metro. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast relaxed and good . We would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking to stay in Paris

Unsafe area
Location of the hotel made us feel extremely unsafe and very vulnerable. Would not recommend booking as we booked for 4 nights and did not even feel safe enough to stay for one. Ended up having to book another hotel for 4 nights.
Also paid €55 city tax which to our belief is incorrect.
